The Watch

Briston is a young French watch brand founded in 2012 by Brice Jaunet. It puts beautifully crafted watches center stage, each defined by an innovative, singular, and authentic DNA. It enriches the Streamliner Urban collection and is designed to be the reliable, stylish companion of the active man. Inspired by motorsport, it features a timeless design and clean lines that work with any outfit - from casual to formal. True to Briston's signature codes, the model is built around a curved square case measuring 42 mm in width and 42 mm in length with a 12 mm thickness. The case is crafted in cellulose acetate sourced from Italy - a hallmark of the brand - and its matte black finish adds a note of deep refinement to the watch. Perfectly suited for everyday wear, it sits comfortably on the wrist. Silver-toned components in 316L stainless steel give it a dynamic edge. Framed by a bezel secured by four polished screws, a K1 mineral crystal measuring 2.80 mm thick sits over the dial, protecting it from daily shocks. A crown engraved with the Briston crest and a grooved design at 3 o'clock lets you set the time and date with ease. Flanked by two pushers with red inserts, it also controls the chronograph. Finally, this model is water-resistant to 100 meters thanks to its screw-down case back.

The Dial

The case frames a stunning round dial that defines the watch's character. Functional, clean, and modern, it sports a black background decorated with an embossed pattern that adds depth. With a 34 mm opening, it features two silver-toned skeleton baton hands. They display hours and minutes in both bright and dark environments thanks to their SuperLuminova C1 coating, also applied to the black hand of the 24-hour counter and the red hand of the 60-minute counter for enhanced legibility. Positioned at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock respectively, these "squircle"-shaped sub-dials each feature a silver-white background and a sunray finish, adding extra charm. The thin lacquered red center seconds hand also serves as the chronograph seconds totalizer. Eleven SuperLuminova C1 indices are recessed into the dial for quick hour identification, even in the dark - baton markers for odd hours and Arabic numerals for even ones. A date window with a black background and red frame at 6 o'clock displays white Arabic numerals. A tachymeter scale graduated on the dial's rehaut allows you to measure the speed of a moving object. It features two red and orange zones that evoke the rev counters found on race car dashboards, adding an eye-catching element to the dial. Finally, Briston signs its name below 12 o'clock and marks the collection name "Streamliner" at the opposite end, noting the model's water resistance.

The Movement

The case houses the 0S21 caliber, a Japanese-made quartz movement renowned for its high quality and outstanding performance. Manufactured by Miyota, this movement runs on a battery that delivers a 5-year battery life. It ensures the smooth, accurate operation of the hands, date window, and counters for precise, reliable reading of hours, minutes, seconds, date, and all chronograph functions. Its oscillation frequency is 32,768 Hz.

The Strap

Crafted in black calfskin leather, the first strap features a wavy design - the elegant, modern touch that elevates your everyday look. Finished with tone-on-tone stitching and an embossed texture, it delivers both style and comfort. It follows the natural curves of your wrist with supple precision, fastening securely with a 316L stainless steel pin buckle engraved with the brand name. The keeper is removable.

The second strap leans into a more sport-chic aesthetic, ready to take on every adventure - from city streets to nautical escapes. Crafted in vulcanized rubber with a "soft touch" coating, it feels great against the skin. Its black finish pairs seamlessly with any outfit, adding a modern edge. Comfortable and wearable all day, this strap features two removable keepers, one of which bears the Briston name. It fastens easily with a brushed 316L stainless steel pin buckle for a secure fit, also engraved with the brand name.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - a truly water-resistant timepiece! This fun, sporty watch is ready to take the plunge with you. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles water without complaint - showers, baths, and lap swimming are no problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that despite its water resistance, this model is not suited for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend not using the crown or pushers while submerged.
