The Watch

Briston burst onto the scene with watches built around bold, eye-catching designs. Born in France, the brand breaks away from traditional watchmaking by incorporating acetate into its cases - producing highly equipped timepieces that blend elevation with serious reliability. The Streamliner Urban Auto Acier et Acetate Taupe is a case in point. Designed for men, it features a tonneau case crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel with tortoiseshell acetate on the sides. The case measures 40 mm in length and width, with a thickness of 12.80 mm. A grey crown with a knurled texture sits at 3 o'clock for adjusting the movement's functions. The entire display is protected by a 2.00 mm ultra-resistant sapphire crystal that shields against shocks. A screwed transparent caseback ensures water resistance to 5 ATM while offering a clear view of the rotor in motion.

The Dial

Elegant and captivating, this dial makes a striking impression. It wears a taupe color enhanced by a sunray finish that adds a luminous touch. Decorative square woven-effect patterns give it a distinctly original character. Three hands are mounted at the center for precise timekeeping. The slender white seconds hand tracks the elapsed seconds, while the long hand marks the minutes and the short hand the hours. Silver-toned, these skeleton-style hands are crafted in brushed steel and feature Super-LumiNova C1 inserts for reliable legibility in low-light conditions. Together, they sweep past a minute railroad track on the inner bezel and rounded indices alternating with engraved Arabic numerals. These white hour markers punctuate the dial with clarity. A date window sits at 6 o'clock, accompanied by the collection name and movement type just above. At 12 o'clock, the brand's name is printed in white as its signature.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Seiko NH35A automatic movement. A reliable Japanese mechanism with vibration resistance, it beats at 21,600 A/h and features 24 jewels that reduce friction while delivering a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Strap

Use the dropdown menu to choose one of the two available straps. Each comes with a specific clasp and features a lug width of 20 mm.

The first strap is crafted entirely from stainless steel with a brushed finish for a refined, elegant look. Its silver tone pairs effortlessly with any outfit or accessories. Built to last, it delivers secure and comfortable everyday wear. Fitted with a deployment clasp for easy handling, it measures 156 mm in length.

The second strap combines flexibility and lightness for all-day comfort. Crafted from vulcanized rubber, it features textured lines that add a polished look. The taupe color hugs the wrist beautifully, letting you move freely through physical activities without discomfort. A classic pin buckle makes it easy to put on and adjust to your preferred fit. The short strap measures 75 mm and the long strap 115 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance rating of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle splashes and brief contact with water, but it's not built for prolonged immersion. A quick shower now and then is fine, but our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea to preserve the movement's accuracy and longevity. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended exposure to water.
