The Watch

Briston is a French watchmaking brand celebrated for its distinctive style - a seamless blend of formal elegance and laid-back sporting cool. The brand consistently surprises its broad clientele with precise, sophisticated designs that complement virtually any wardrobe. From the Streamliner Urban collection, this men's watch features a barrel-shaped case crafted from stainless steel and cellulose acetate, finished in silver with a brushed bezel secured by screws. Sized at 42 mm to suit men's wrists, the case is topped with a mineral crystal that frames the beautiful dial beneath. The pushers and notched crown on the right side handle all adjustments. A screwed case back delivers 10 ATM water resistance.

The Dial

Featuring a taupe gray waffle-textured background, this dial communicates the time with elegance and flair. A minute railroad track marked with lines and Arabic numerals runs along the bezel insert. The outer ring alternates between baton indices for odd hours and Arabic numerals for even hours. At the center, three hands point to these markers to display hours, minutes, and seconds - all coated with a luminescent finish for excellent legibility even in low-light conditions. The chronograph function is handled by two sub-dials displaying 24 hours and 60 minutes, located at 3 and 9 o'clock respectively. At 6 o'clock, a date window completes the layout, while the brand name is displayed just below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

The quartz movement powering this model is of Japanese origin. More specifically, it is the Miyota OS21 caliber, driven by a battery with a 5-year lifespan, delivering precise and reliable performance across all functions.

The Strap

This timepiece features a vulcanized rubber strap in taupe gray. Exceptionally comfortable, it sits easily on the wrist and stays securely fastened thanks to a gray brushed stainless steel pin buckle. The strap has a lug width of 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - that's 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece transitions effortlessly from black-tie events to the water. You can absolutely wear it in the shower, the bath, or during a swim (even an intense one!). That said, our watch experts want to be clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving, freediving, or use with high-pressure washers. Remember: showers, baths, and swimming only - and keep the crown and pushers dry while submerged!
