The Watch

French watchmaker Briston crafts elegant timepieces that blend sport and sophistication into an effortlessly wearable aesthetic. Today, meet the 23142.S.T.25.SB from the Streamliner Urban collection - a watch designed to dress up your wrist with style while keeping you on time in the most refined way. It features a barrel-shaped case in brushed stainless steel and tortoiseshell cellulose acetate. With a diameter of 42 mm, this case is designed to suit men's wrists. Its surface is protected by a K1 mineral crystal 2.80 mm thick, surrounded by a bezel secured by four screws. True to watchmaking tradition, a crown is positioned at 3 o'clock, flanked on either side by two pushers for adjusting the chronograph hands. The screwed case back ensures water resistance to 5 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this stunning watch features a round shape and a striking blue hue. Its defining characteristic is the waffle-textured finish, a signature detail of Briston watches. It displays time markers coated with a luminescent layer, making them easy to read day or night. The bezel features a minute railroad track along with baton-shaped hour indices accompanied by Arabic numerals along the outer edge. At the center, three hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. For added functionality, a date window sits at 6 o'clock, and two sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock display the 24-hour and 60-minute functions respectively. The collection name and water resistance rating are noted at six o'clock, while the brand signature appears at 12 o'clock.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Japanese quartz movement. The highly accurate Miyota 0S21 caliber displays not only hours, minutes, and seconds, but also all additional complications shown on the dial. This mechanism runs on a battery with an estimated life of approximately five years.

The Strap

The watch is paired with a stainless steel bracelet. Its brushed and polished links give it a refined, elegant look. With a lug width of 20 mm, it delivers all-day comfort on the wrist. A deployment clasp makes it easy to fasten and unfasten.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a genuinely water-resistant timepiece! Built for life on the move, it's ready to take the plunge with you - from puddles to the pool, this watch handles water with ease. Showering, bathing, and sports swimming are all fair game. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while submerged.
