The Watch

Since 1998, Schaumburg Watches has been producing mechanical watches, including a number with chronographs and chronometers. This German manufacture develops its own movements to deliver expertise and transparency. Watch straps are also hand-finished in Germany. The house also places great importance on watch design. The aesthetic is unique - taking you on a journey through time and space, from the 19th century to tomorrow, from realistic landscapes to fantastical worlds. The SteamPunk Recreation model reconstructs the Industrial Revolution. To achieve this, the watch is built around a patinated steel case with a 42mm diameter. The crown at three o'clock is patinated to match. A sapphire crystal lets you admire the dial. The screwed transparent case back reveals the movement, crafted in the same style as the dial. Finally, this timepiece offers a water resistance of 5 bar.

The Dial

The dial edges have a dusty, weathered look. Raised round indices reminiscent of screwed bolts mark the hours. The dial background is predominantly black toward the edges, gradually brightening to a golden hue at the center. It is heavily aged with scratches, holes, and metal hardware details. The right side with the gears gives the impression of a repair job. In short, the dial's staging is incredibly convincing. Only the two golden "skeleton" arrow-shaped hands remind you this is actually a watch dial. At six o'clock, a dedicated sub-dial for the seconds is installed. Between 12 and 2 o'clock, the German house signs its creation.

The Movement

Looking closely at the movement visible on the dial and examining it in detail through the case back, you'll identify a mechanical movement. The SW-07.1 caliber comes from the house of Schaumburg Watches. It features an Incabloc anti-shock system and a frequency of 18,000 A/h.

The Strap

This leather strap was crafted and lovingly finished by the artisans at Schaumburg Watches. Its vintage bronze finish lends a deliberate, beautifully aged look. The color resembles a deep brown that has been washed out. An ardillon buckle lets you adjust the strap to your wrist.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. It is designed to be strikingly beautiful and turn heads at any occasion. That said, its refined character in no way compromises its ability to withstand the elements. You can wear this watch in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the side of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity longer. For swimming and diving, we strongly advise against wearing this watch to avoid damage and costly repairs.
