This stunning pendant, available in 375/1000 (9K) or 750/1000 (18K) yellow gold, features the "Magen" David - the Star of David. Before the 15th century, the Star of David, also known as the Seal of Solomon, was a protective magical symbol featured on amulets. It only became the emblem of Judaism - as the crucifix is for Christianity - following the expulsion of the Jews from Spain in the 15th century, fueled by the rise of the printing press.

A traditional Judaic pendant, this piece measures 25 mm (triangle side) by 23 mm in height including the bail. It is the largest open-work model in the catalog.
