Speed Racer II Chronograph Watch SRS212

The Watch

OceanX introduces the new SRS212 diving chronograph watch from the Speed Racer II collection. Refined and elegant, this timepiece draws inspiration from the classic dive watch design while incorporating the latest watchmaking technologies to stay ahead of the curve. It features a round case crafted in brushed and polished grey stainless steel, measuring 41.5 millimeters in diameter and 14 millimeters thick - a perfect fit for men's wrists. The dial is shielded from shocks and scratches by a stunning domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. A fixed black bezel with a tachymeter scale surrounds it. At three o'clock, you'll find a crown, flanked by two pushers at two and four o'clock for setting the hands and counters. Finally, this watch is water-resistant to 200 meters, thanks in part to its screw-down caseback that keeps moisture out.

The Dial

This unique timepiece features a round, cream-colored dial. At the center, three hands display the hours, minutes, and seconds. Hour markers are positioned around the perimeter, represented by small white batons, complemented by a red minute railway track for added precision. You'll also notice three counters at three, six, and nine o'clock, indicating the 24 hours, 60 minutes, and small seconds respectively. Finally, the maison signs its creation at the 12 o'clock marker, with the collection name displayed above the 60-minute counter.

The Movement

The Strap

This chronograph watch features a stainless steel bracelet in grey. Its three rows of links sport a brushed finish for a refined look. A grey deployant clasp makes it easy to fasten to your wrist size. The lug width measures 20 millimeters.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model qualifies without hesitation as a true dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while this timepiece handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba with ease, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving where the pressure would exceed its water-resistance rating. For professional divers tackling serious depth challenges, we recommend exploring models rated at 30 atmospheres and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, in order to preserve the watch's water-tight integrity.
