The Watch

OceanX presents its SMS1004 Sharkmaster 1000 - a dive watch that defies convention. Where most dive watches lean purely sporty, this one blends rugged performance with refined sophistication, making it just as at home at a formal event as it is exploring the ocean depths. The round case is crafted from brushed stainless steel coated in rose gold PVD, giving it an elegant edge. At 44 mm in diameter and 17.1 mm thick, it's sized for a confident men's wrist. It comes fitted with a stunning rotating bezel set with white and black crystals - a luxurious detail that lights up your wrist and elevates any outfit. Protecting the dial is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating for crystal-clear legibility. A screw-down crown flanked by two steel guards sits at 3 o'clock in rose gold, used to set the time and date. At 9 o'clock, a helium escape valve keeps the watch safe during decompression by releasing the fine helium particles that enter the case during saturation dives - protecting your timepiece when it matters most. Water-resistant to 1,000 meters thanks to its screw-down caseback, this watch is built for every maritime adventure - and stylish enough to wear with a sharp outfit.

The Dial

With a polished finish, the round black dial features large white hour markers with a rounded design, complemented by a minute track. At the center, 3 hands in white and rose gold let you read the hours, minutes, and seconds. The sword and Mercedes-style hands pair beautifully with the markers for optimal legibility. A white-background date window sits at 3 o'clock. To ensure readability in the dark, both the hands and markers feature a luminescent coating. The movement type and water resistance are indicated at 6 o'clock, while the collection name and OceanX signature appear at 12 o'clock. Together, these dial elements create a perfect contrast for effortless time reading.

The Movement

Powering the 3 hands and date window is a Japanese automatic movement housed at the heart of the case. Driven by the Seiko NH35 caliber, it features 24 jewels and oscillates at 21,600 vibrations per hour, delivering reliable and precise timekeeping for hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. Power reserve is 41 hours.

The Strap

True to the dive watch aesthetic, this timepiece is paired with a sleek black rubber strap. Comfortable and water-resistant, it's built for aquatic activities. A steel and rose gold PVD pin buckle makes it easy to adjust and secure, with a 21 mm lug width.

Water Resistance

With 1,000 meters of water resistance - that's 100 ATM in watchmaking terms - even Captain Nemo would be jealous. Bath, shower, swimming, freediving, scuba: this watch handles them all without breaking a sweat. The Ocarat watch experts do ask just two things of you:
