The Watch

OceanX is a brand dedicated to timepieces built for nautical adventures. With the SMS1086 model, it pays tribute to one of the most iconic dive watches ever made: the Sharkmaster 1000. This robust diver features a round case with classic, bold proportions - 44 mm in diameter, 17.10 mm thick, and 51.90 mm lug-to-lug. Crafted in stainless steel, it blends brushed surfaces on both faces with polished flanks. It sports a 120-click unidirectional bezel with a green ceramic insert, finely crafted with a knurled design and white graduation markings - essential for tracking dive time. The bezel is topped by a 4.50 mm thick anti-reflective sapphire crystal that shields the dial from impacts and scratches while delivering crystal-clear visibility. On the right side of the case, a screwed crown engraved with the brand logo handles central element adjustments. On the opposite side at 9 o'clock, a helium escape valve activates at depth to prevent pressure buildup inside the case. Finally, a solid screwed caseback guarantees 100 ATM water resistance, measures 3.80 mm thick, and bears the watch's specifications and brand logo.

The Dial

This model's dial stays true to the dive watch aesthetic. Easy to read, it features a glossy base with a black upper half and a green lower half. The perimeter is outlined by a classic white minute track. Standout indices include a bold triangle at 12 o'clock, baton markers at 6 and 9 o'clock, and round dots for the remaining hour markers - all in white for excellent contrast and easy reading. The hour hand features an orange lozenge, the minute hand a sword shape, and the seconds hand a lightning bolt with an orange arrowhead tip. All hands and indices are treated with a luminescent coating for perfect legibility in dark environments and deep water. At 3 o'clock, a date window replaces the index marker against a white background. The brand signs the dial with its name below 12 o'clock and places watch specifications opposite.

The Movement

At the heart of this timepiece beats a Seiko automatic movement. Of Japanese origin, it is specifically caliber NH35 - equipped with 24 jewels, offering a power reserve of 41 hours, and oscillating at 21,600 BPH. It features a stop-seconds mechanism for precise time setting.

The Strap

This watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with a 21 mm lug width. It features a brushed finish and is composed of 3 rows of oyster-style links, secured by a solid deployment clasp for a reliable hold all day long.

Water Resistance

Water-resistant to 100 atmospheres, or 1,000 meters, this watch is purpose-built for deep-sea diving. Its screwed caseback and crown let you explore the ocean depths with complete confidence. The model also features a helium escape valve to manage helium buildup inside the case and control pressure during decompression.
