Seiko stands for precision, reliability, quality, and achievement. Founded in 1881, the brand has delivered flawless timepieces and pioneered major technological breakthroughs. Always driven by ingenuity and innovation, the Japanese manufacturer crafts watches with timeless designs, ingenious movements, and an elegant look. Now it unveils the Seiko 5 SRPK99K1 - a masterful blend of refined aesthetics and impressive functionality. The watch features a barrel-shaped stainless steel case that combines robustness and durability with a sophisticated, timeless presence. Silver-toned and finished with alternating polished and brushed surfaces for a richer visual effect, it measures 42.50 mm in diameter and 14.20 mm thick, sitting comfortably on the wrist thanks to its 168 g weight. It is complemented by a notched, unidirectional bezel with a sleek black insert featuring a gold minute scale. The bezel pairs with a domed Hardlex crystal that adds a subtle vintage touch, reinforcing this timepiece's enduring appeal. On the right side, precisely at 4 o'clock, an elegantly notched and protected crown ensures easy adjustment of the hands, day, and date. The case back is sealed with a screw-down cover featuring a transparent aperture so you can admire the inner workings. This case back also guarantees water resistance to 10 ATM.
This watch features a clean, well-designed dial with a retro feel accentuated by a modern twist. Its deep matte black base creates a bold, striking contrast that speaks to both sophistication and mystery. A traditional minute track runs along the perimeter with white bars. Paired with it are gold baton hour markers, wider and beveled at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock for added visual appeal. These markers ensure excellent legibility day and night thanks to a Lumibrite treatment, also applied to the gold hands. The hour and minute hands are of the "diver" style, while the slender seconds hand features an arrow tip. At 3 o'clock, a dual window with a gold frame on a black background displays the day of the week and date in white. Finally, the brand's name appears just below 12 o'clock alongside its logo, with the movement type indicated at 6 o'clock.
The case houses a reliable, high-performance Japanese automatic movement - specifically the Seiko Caliber 4R36, equipped with 24 jewels and a power reserve of 41 hours. Running at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, it delivers accurate and consistent daily performance. This movement features a three-hand analog display with an accuracy of +45/-35 seconds per day.
The bracelet paired with this watch is where elegance meets functionality in every detail. Crafted in stainless steel with three rows of links, it effortlessly blends classic style with a relaxed edge. Silver-toned and finished with a brushed surface, it achieves a seamless fusion of style and design. With a lug width of 22 mm, it fastens with a push-button deployment clasp with a safety lock.
This watch delivers water resistance to 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - splash-proof and ready for action. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles showers, baths, and lap swimming without missing a beat. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while it's water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. Also, avoid using the crown or pushers while submerged.
