The Watch

Founded in 1881, Seiko is a Japanese watchmaking manufacture that has always pursued perfection. It creates innovative, technology-forward timepieces that seamlessly blend design with tradition. Today, it introduces the new Seiko 5 SRPK87K1, a testament to meticulous craftsmanship. This watch comes housed in a barrel-shaped case where every detail has been thoughtfully refined to convey pure sophistication. Crafted in stainless steel, it delivers uncompromising strength and durability. Silver-toned, it is elevated by a brushed surface finish and polished bezel and case sides for a harmonious, eye-catching combination. With a diameter of 37.50 mm and a thickness of 12.50 mm, it sits perfectly on men's wrists. The dial is protected by a domed Hardlex crystal that adds a classic touch to the overall design. The crown is positioned at 4 o'clock - a particularly ergonomic choice. Grooved and partially protected, it handles hour, minute, and date adjustments with ease. The package is rounded out by a screw-down case back with a transparent display window offering a stunning view of the movement, and delivering a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The watch features a bold and well-organized dial designed for instant readability and maximum visual impact. Its matte blue base is accentuated by large baton indices, doubled at 12 o'clock, all filled with Lumibrite for enhanced legibility in low-light conditions. Visibility is further boosted by two silver baton hands also coated in Lumibrite, paired with a slim orange seconds hand that adds a vibrant pop of color. The entire display is framed by a white ring featuring a minute track with bold markers every 5 minutes. At 3 o'clock, the index gives way to a dual window showing the day in abbreviated English and the date in numerals. To finish, the brand authenticates its design with its name below 12 o'clock alongside its logo, and the movement type is indicated above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Japanese-made automatic movement - the Seiko 4R36 caliber, featuring 24 jewels and beating at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 41 hours. Reliable and precise, this movement drives the analog display with an accuracy of +45/-35 seconds per day and also powers the dual window with outstanding performance.

The Bracelet

This watch is paired with a super comfortable bracelet crafted in durable, resilient stainless steel. It features three rows of brushed links secured by a single deployment clasp with push buttons. Comfortable, sturdy, and beautifully built, it has a lug width of 18 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters - or 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this sharp-looking timepiece holds its own from black-tie galas to the swimming pool. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or during your swim sessions, even intense ones. That said, our team of watch experts wants to be crystal clear: this model is not designed for scuba diving - freediving or tank diving alike - nor for use with high-pressure washers. Remember: showers, baths, and swimming only, and always keep the crown and pushers dry.
