Benedict was born in Italy into an aristocratic family in 480. He is credited with founding twelve monasteries before establishing the Abbey of Monte Cassino in 530. His name comes from the Latin "blessed by God."
He is depicted wearing Benedictine robes, carrying a crozier and a book. This medal features a polished finish that gives its contour a brilliant shine, contrasted by a matte sandblasted center. The jewelry piece is available in several sizes:
Ø15 mm. Average gold weight 2.30 grams
Ø18 mm. Average gold weight 3.60 grams
Ø20 mm. Average gold weight 5.00 grams
