The Watch

An exceptional French Maison, Pequignet designs and manufactures every model in France. Elegant and refined, the 9010443F CN watch dresses men's wrists with effortless class. It features a round 316L stainless steel case - a material prized for its durability and outstanding corrosion resistance. The polished finish adds a brilliant touch to this timepiece. Sized perfectly for men's wrists, the case measures 42 mm in diameter. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating shields the dial from shocks and scratches, while the same material is used for the transparent caseback. A delicate crown at 3 o'clock allows for hand-setting. The caseback is secured by 6 screws, ensuring water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

The round dial features a deep opaline black hue - understated yet undeniably elegant. At its center, two silver dauphine hands indicate the hours and minutes, pointing to silver baton indexes. A minute track runs along the dial's perimeter for precise timekeeping. Three subdials are set within the dial - at 4 o'clock, 6 o'clock, and 8 o'clock - displaying the small seconds, moon phase, and power reserve indicator, respectively. The date and day appear beneath the 12 o'clock index in a rectangular window. The brand signature sits just below the 12 o'clock index, with Made in France noted at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

The movement beating at the heart of this case was created and crafted in Pequignet's workshops in Morteau. Le Calibre Royal is an in-house automatic mechanical movement displaying the date, day, moon phase, and power reserve. The power reserve stands at 88 hours, ensuring an exceptional isochronism of 72 hours. It operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3Hz), features bidirectional automatic winding, a large balance wheel with compensating gold screws, and distributes the mainspring's initial force via a central barrel arbor. A testament to fine watchmaking, the movement is finished with pearlaged bridges and baseplate, perlage, and Côtes de Genève.

The Strap

In perfect harmony with the rest of the watch, the black strap is crafted in large-scale alligator leather. Tone-on-tone stitching adds an extra layer of refinement to the overall look. Incredibly elegant, it pairs effortlessly with any style. The silver-tone pin buckle makes it easy to adjust and secure.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 5 atmospheres (50 m). It is designed to be a showstopper - but that beauty doesn't come at the cost of resilience. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and scuba diving, we strongly advise against using this watch to avoid damage and potential repair costs.
