The Watch

Le Jour is a Swiss watchmaking company founded in the 1960s, crafting professional timepieces from premium materials. Known for breathtaking finishes across both classic and modern collections, the brand stands out with its vintage-inspired sport line: The Rally Monte-Carlo. The series features the refined LJ-RMC-004 chronograph, with its unmistakable, flawless design. Comfortable on the wrist, it sports a cushion-shaped case measuring 40 mm in diameter, 48 mm lug-to-lug, and a total thickness of 14.50 mm. Crafted entirely in 316L stainless steel, it showcases a brushed finish that never goes unnoticed. The dial is shielded by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, offering excellent scratch and shock resistance along with superb legibility. A screw-down crown and two pushers on the right side handle all dial adjustments. Flip the watch over and a transparent caseback invites you to admire the movement's inner workings. The rotor bears the brand name while the crystal features motifs tied to the collection. The screw-down caseback provides a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this model captures the performance and precision synonymous with Le Jour, while retaining its vintage charm and luxurious appeal. Striped with horizontal lines across its green base, it achieves a bold visual elegance. Silver sub-dials and markers frame the display beautifully, with the chronograph counters showing 30 minutes, small seconds, and 12 hours. A day window displays the day in abbreviated English along with the date for added practicality. The perimeter features a minute track alternating with oversized silver-toned indices, tracked by two sword-shaped hands and a slim seconds hand for hours, minutes, and seconds. Legibility in low light is optimized with Swiss Super-LumiNova C3 coating on both hands and indices. Model-specific text appears near 3 o'clock, with the brand signature just above it.

The Movement

Le Jour selected a Swiss-made Sellita SW500 automatic movement for this timepiece. Fitted with 25 jewels and delivering a power reserve of 56 hours, it drives all central indications with precision. Running at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz), this caliber is highly reliable.

The Strap

The look of this model is elevated by a carefully finished 316L stainless steel bracelet. Featuring a dual brushed and polished finish, its links strike a balance between classic elegance and bold character. At 22 mm wide, it wraps comfortably around your wrist, tapering to 18 mm at the clasp. The deployant clasp includes push-button releases for effortless wear.

Water Resistance

This model delivers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - a genuinely waterproof timepiece. Ready to dive into aquatic adventures with you, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without breaking a sweat. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem. That said, Ocarat's watchmaking experts want you to know that while this watch is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while submerged.
