A world-renowned Swiss watchmaker, Tissot has earned its place at the top of the affordable luxury segment - delivering quality and craftsmanship that speaks for itself. With iconic designs and proven expertise, choosing a Tissot watch means choosing a timepiece that's both robust and refined. Discover this limited-edition gem from the Swiss maison: the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100. A reissue of the iconic 1970s model, Tissot takes you on a journey back in time. Part of the T-Classic collection, the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 features a case with a subtle tonneau profile, crafted in silver-tone brushed 316L stainless steel, measuring 40 millimeters in diameter with a thickness of 10.9 millimeters. On top, it houses a slim, smooth, round bezel of the same construction. The star of the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 is undoubtedly the dial - centered within the case, it adds a bold touch of originality and deepens the vintage character of this beautiful timepiece. The dial features various elements that make reading the time clear, precise, and effortless. While the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 is powered by an automatic movement, it still features a crown positioned in line with three o'clock, on the right side of the case. This crown - also known as the manual winding button - allows you to set the time on your watch, ideal when traveling across time zones, for example. A flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment sits over the dial. Finally, thanks to its screwed-down transparent caseback, the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 achieves a water resistance of 10 ATM, or 100 meters.
Reinforcing the vintage, retro design of this reissue, the round dial of the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 is sure to win you over and pairs beautifully with any outfit! In blue, it features a waffle-textured finish paired with rhodium-plated indices and hands. The hands are coated with a luminescent treatment and display hours, minutes, and seconds. You'll also notice the white date window positioned next to the three o'clock index. Bar-shaped rhodium-plated indices, complemented by a minute track, run along the outer edge of the dial. Just below the double twelve o'clock index, the Swiss brand proudly displays its name and founding year, 1853. The watch's model name appears just above six o'clock. To set the time and date on the PRX Powermatic 80 T1374071104100 whenever needed, a crown is positioned on the right side of the case. Finally, a domed sapphire crystal sits over the dial to protect against knocks and unsightly scratches.
Nestled at the heart of this watch's case, the automatic movement reveals itself through the caseback, giving you a mesmerizing front-row view of its endless mechanical ballet! More specifically, this is a Swiss automatic winding mechanism designed by Tissot - the Powermatic 80.111 - with a base caliber of ETA C07.111, itself built on an ETA 2824-2 caliber. It boasts a very special feature: the patented Nivachron™ balance spring. Measuring 25.6 millimeters in diameter, it delivers a power reserve of 80 hours, an oscillation frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and 23 jewels.
This stunning watch is worn on a link bracelet crafted in silver-tone brushed 316L stainless steel - matching the case. Reference T605046447, it wraps perfectly around your wrist thanks to a butterfly deployant clasp with push-buttons. Interchangeable, you can personalize your watch to suit your style, outfits, and mood!
This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. This is a truly water-resistant timepiece! With its sporty character, it's ready to dive into aquatic adventures right alongside you. From puddles to the pool, this watch handles splashes and swims without complaint. Showering, bathing, and recreational swimming are no problem at all. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or otherwise) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry - don't operate them while submerged.
