Its round case is crafted entirely from stainless steel with a carbon titanium coating that gives it a sleek black finish. It measures 42.5 mm in diameter with a 15 mm thickness. The case is topped with a domed sapphire crystal, renowned for its extreme scratch and shock resistance, while its anti-reflective treatment ensures perfect dial legibility at all times. Flanking the knurled crown are two pushers, allowing easy adjustment and activation of the watch's functions. Finally, the screwed, transparent caseback showcases the movement while guaranteeing this 120-gram model a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

In a striking dark black finish, the round dial of this timepiece delivers an analog display of exceptional clarity and fluidity. Three silver-toned hands stand in perfect contrast against the dial background. The hour and minute hands feature a baton shape, while the slender seconds hand sweeps continuously. Together they race past Arabic numeral indices numbered 5 to 60, framed by a minute track punctuated with small red rectangles. To ensure full legibility in low-light conditions, the indices and hands are coated with a Lumibrite luminescent finish. The dial also features a tachymeter scale on the bezel for measuring speed. Built for those who embrace every challenge, this model is equipped with two sophisticated sub-dials: the first at 3 o'clock displays the 60-second chronograph function, and the second at 9 o'clock displays the 30-minute chronograph function. A date window at 6 o'clock keeps you on schedule. Finally, Seiko signs the dial at 12 o'clock and notes the movement type just above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This Prospex Speed Timer is powered by an automatic chronograph movement with a vertical clutch and column wheel, manufactured in-house by Seiko. The high-performance caliber 8R46 ensures precise display of the hands, date window, and sub-dials. It features 34 jewels and operates at an oscillation frequency of 28,800 vph. With a 45-hour power reserve, it delivers outstanding autonomy.

The Strap

The elegant strap on this timepiece is crafted from calfskin leather. Its rich black color, enhanced by tone-on-tone stitching, adds a refined vintage touch to any outfit. Featuring a 20 mm lug width, it fastens with a pin buckle and pairs effortlessly with all your everyday city looks.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters. That makes it a genuinely water-resistant watch!
