The Watch

Citizen is a Japanese brand celebrated for its watchmaking expertise and originality. Today, the brand presents the Promaster Sky BY3006-53E watch, specially designed for men's wrists. It features a round case measuring 47 mm in diameter and 11.50 mm in thickness, crafted from brushed and polished stainless steel for a look that's both elegant and exceptionally rugged. At 3 o'clock, a gray textured crown allows easy operation, flanked by two pushers that control various core functions. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal ensures optimal legibility while protecting against potential shocks. The watch also features a textured rotating bezel with a black insert marked with a flight distance and navigation slide rule. Weighing 180 g, this watch benefits from an engraved snap-back caseback with water resistance up to 20 ATM.

The Dial

This dial was crafted with meticulous attention to detail for a precise and effortless reading of the time. Its generous size adds a captivating presence to the watch. It sports a black background surrounded by a graduated scale and a circular slide rule. The minutes are displayed alongside the names of 26 cities in green for the GMT function, while the hours are marked by silver baton indices. Three hands - a short one for the hours, a long one for the minutes, and a slender one for the seconds - are positioned at the center. The first two are luminescent for improved visibility in the dark, as are the hour markers. At 4 o'clock, a date window is accompanied by three additional sub-dials at 6, 9, and 12 o'clock. They indicate world time in 24-hour format, the time in 24-hour format with AM and PM, the day of the week, the remaining charge level, low-charge warning, and overcharge protection, along with indicator lights (ON) and (OFF) for synchronization and deactivation of worldwide radio signal reception. Finally, at 3 o'clock, the brand name and movement type are displayed as a signature.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an Eco-Drive movement developed in-house and driven by solar energy. Reliable and precise across all functions, it features a battery rechargeable by any natural or artificial light source, with a maximum autonomy of approximately 6 months from a full charge.

The Bracelet

This bracelet adds a refined touch to your look. Crafted from stainless steel for excellent durability, its brushed and polished links contour naturally to your wrist. With a lug width of 22 mm and a gray tone, it pairs effortlessly with all your accessories. The 20 mm deployment clasp ensures a perfect, adjustable fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, equivalent to 200 meters, this model confidently qualifies as a dive watch. Our watchmaking experts agree: while it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving with ease, it is not intended for extreme deep-sea diving where pressure would exceed its limits. For professional divers taking on serious depth challenges, we recommend models rated at 30 ATM and above. We also advise against operating the pushers or crown while submerged, to maintain perfect water resistance at all times.
