The Watch

Japanese watchmaker Citizen crafts timepieces built for every condition. Designed for men, it features a round case measuring 48.20 mm in diameter and 18.50 mm in thickness. Crafted in brushed stainless steel with a brushed finish, it weighs 194 g and offers lasting durability. Antimagnetic, it is fitted with a mineral crystal protecting the dial, surrounded by a unidirectional bezel with a minute scale and a luminescent marker at 12 o'clock. At 9 o'clock - opposite the conventional position - a black, protected crown handles all central adjustments. Screw-down and knurled, it ensures a confident grip. The watch features a screw-down, engraved caseback for water resistance to 30 ATM.

The Dial

This eye-catching dial makes a bold statement on this timepiece. It boasts a beautiful light green background against which the various markers are set for precise readability. Three black central hands sweep across it effortlessly - a slender seconds hand, a long minute hand, and a short hour hand. Together, they track the surrounding geometric hour markers and the minute track along the outer edge. To ensure optimal legibility in any conditions, both the hands and hour markers feature a luminescent coating. A date window at 3 o'clock adds a practical complication, while near 6 o'clock, the country of origin and water resistance rating are noted. The brand places its name and movement type just below 12 o'clock as its signature.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an in-house Eco-Drive movement. Reliable and robust, this mechanism features a solar charging system. It delivers accuracy of +/- 15 sec per month and provides approximately 6 months of autonomy via its light-powered cell. It is specifically the B873-00M caliber developed by Citizen in its workshops in Japan, driving the hands and date display with precision.

The Strap
