The Watch

Casio, known for its bold, trend-forward watch designs, continues to push boundaries with an ever-expanding lineup that appeals to every watch enthusiast. Today, the brand invites you to discover the PRW-30-1AER from the Pro Trek collection - a timepiece that embodies the brand's adventurous spirit and is ready to be your trusted companion on every expedition. This model features a round resin case with a diameter of 45.2 mm and a thickness of 12.3 mm, giving it a distinctly bold, masculine presence. At just 66 grams, it won't slow you down throughout the day. The dial is protected by a mineral crystal that shields against everyday shocks and scratches. A grey compass bezel frames the watch, while 5 push buttons on either side of the case make navigating between functions effortless. Finally, the screw-back case ensures water resistance up to 10 ATM - that's 100 meters deep.

The Dial

Featuring a fully digital display with rounded edges, this dial sits at the center of the watch. The main screen shows the time in 12h/24h digital format at the center, the date with the day of the week in English above, and the alarm function below. Surrounding the display, you'll find a range of additional functions - including a barometer, altimeter, and thermometer. The dial is equipped with Full Auto LED backlighting for easy reading in low-light conditions. The brand's signature and collection name appear discreetly at the 12 o'clock position.

Functions

Solar power: The watch runs on a self-sufficient solar energy system, powered by eco-friendly solar cells. Any surplus solar energy is stored in a rechargeable battery.

Full Auto LED backlight: When you tilt your wrist in low-light conditions, an LED automatically illuminates the dial.

Automatic time adjustment: Syncs via radio-controlled time signals (EU, USA, JPN, CHN)

Cold resistance (-10 °C): This watch also withstands temperatures down to -10 °C.

Compass: A built-in directional sensor detects magnetic north.

Barometer: A dedicated sensor measures atmospheric pressure (range: 260/1100 hPa) and displays the result on screen as a symbol, giving you at-a-glance weather forecasting.

Altimeter: A pressure sensor detects changes in atmospheric pressure and converts the reading into an altitude value, up to 10,000 m.

Cumulative altitude gain: This function totals all the meters of elevation you've climbed. At a glance, you can see your total elevation gain throughout your hike.

Altimeter memory: Depending on the model, the watch can store up to 40 blocks of altitude data, available for review at any time. Each data block includes the recorded altitude along with the date and time of the measurement. In addition to the measured altitude, the altimeter also logs the maximum and minimum altitudes recorded during a session.

Thermometer: A sensor measures ambient temperature and displays it in degrees Celsius (-10°C / +60°C).

Sunrise and sunset: Once your geographic location is entered, the watch can display the sunrise and sunset times for any date.

World time function: Displays the current time across 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Stopwatch function - 1/10 sec - 1,000 h: Measures elapsed time precisely with the press of a button. The fraction indicates the unit of measurement, while the number shows the maximum measurable time.

Countdown timers - 1/1 min - 24 hours: For those who love precision: countdown timers alert you to important or recurring events with an audible signal at the programmed date and time. Time can be set in minutes, up to a maximum of 1 hour in advance.

5 daily alarms: An audible alarm reminds you of your daily commitments at the set time. This model features five independent alarms, giving you the flexibility to stay on top of all your important appointments.

Snooze function: Each time you stop the alarm, it automatically goes off again a few minutes later.

Button beep on/off: The button beep can be turned off using the mode button. Once disabled, no beep will sound when switching between functions. However, any programmed alarms or countdowns remain active even after the button beep is turned off.

Auto calendar: Once set, the automatic calendar always displays the correct date.

Battery level indicator: Displays the current battery level.

The Strap

A striking blue resin strap wraps around each side of the case. Durable yet flexible, it delivers all-day comfort and is built for adventure. It fastens with a silver-tone pin buckle for easy adjustment and a secure fit on your wrist.

Water Resistance

This model offers 10-atmosphere water resistance - that's 100 meters. Built to handle water with ease, it's ready to join you in any aquatic adventure. From puddles to the pool, this timepiece handles splashes, showers, baths, and lap swimming without breaking a sweat. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or push buttons while submerged.
