The Watch
The Presage collection made a splash in the watchmaking world in barely a year. It brings together watches from Japanese manufacture Seiko, featuring flawlessly precise movements and refined finishes at an outstanding value. A winning formula - and Seiko is running with it into 2017. Speaking of a winning recipe, it's time to focus on the latest Presage collection unveiled at Baselworld 2017: the Cocktail line. This range delivers an ultra-elegant design, perfectly suited to your sharpest suits. Built with a stainless steel case measuring 40.5 mm in diameter and just 11.8 mm thick. The case is topped by a curved Hardlex crystal, while the screwed and transparent caseback reveals the oscillating rotor of the automatic movement. A stainless steel crown at 3 o'clock lets you set your watch to the second.

The Dial
Round in shape, this dial is bathed in light and delivers a retro look with a distinctive character - its grey hue combined with guilloché and sunray finishes producing a beautiful bluish shimmer depending on the light. Three central hands indicate the hours, minutes, and seconds. They are silver-toned, as are the hour markers, which take the form of arrow-shaped stick indices, creating a harmonious tone-on-tone effect with the case. The minute track is black, while a date window sits at 3 o'clock. The brand name is displayed at 12 o'clock, complemented by the collection name and the word "Automatic" at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
Powering this timepiece is a Japanese automatic movement from Seiko manufacture, offering hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions. The 4R35 caliber features 23 jewels, a precision of -35/+45 seconds per day, an oscillation frequency of 21,600 vph (6 beats per second), and a theoretical power reserve of 41 hours at full wind.

The Strap
For a look of effortless luxury, this watch comes fitted with a black leather strap with blue contrast stitching. It fastens with a silver-toned push-button fold-over clasp. The lug width of this model is 20 mm.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance of 50 meters (5 ATM in watchmaking terms), this timepiece can handle everyday splashes - but prolonged water contact is not recommended. You can wear it in the shower occasionally, but to preserve the movement's precision and longevity, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended immersion.
