The Watch
Japanese watchmaker Seiko innovates once again with a new model in its Presage collection. This automatic timepiece pays tribute to the Manhattan cocktail - a hallmark of New York high society, steeped in the blue-blooded elegance of the East Coast. Crafted for the male wrist, it features a stainless steel case measuring 38.5 mm in diameter. Its refined fixed and polished bezel is complemented by a stainless steel crown at 3 o'clock, used to set the hours, minutes, and date window. The dial is shielded from everyday scratches by a Hardlex crystal. On the caseback, a transparent sapphire crystal lets you admire the movement in action. The screwed caseback also ensures water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial
This model features a round dial full of subtle, elegant details. Its blue-tinted surface is enhanced by a guilloché finish, complemented by rosette motifs - summery accents that perfectly match the model's seasonal release. At the center of the dial, two dauphine hands and a silver seconds hand sweep gracefully to indicate hours, minutes, and seconds with great refinement. These time markers are accompanied by Arabic numeral and baton-shaped indexes. A minute track runs along the outer edge of the dial for added precision. Finally, the brand places its signature beneath the 12 o'clock index, while the movement origin and collection name appear at 6 o'clock.

The Movement
This model runs on an automatic movement of Japanese origin, manufactured by Seiko. Specifically, it features the caliber 4R35, which drives the hour and minute hands while displaying the seconds and date. With 24 jewels at the heart of the mechanism, it achieves an oscillation frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Strap
This stunning model comes fitted with a leather strap. Its deep black color harmonizes beautifully with the elegance of the dial. The strap fastens easily with a single push-button deployant clasp in the same finish as the case - effortless to operate and secure on the wrist.

Water Resistance
With a water resistance rating of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. Sure, you can wear it in the shower now and then, but to preserve the movement's quality and precision, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from the H₂O found in baths, pools, and the sea. Bottom line: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact or immersion.
