Every detail of this pen has been meticulously crafted to tell the story of Prince Albert. The cap features a clip shaped after his wife's scepter, adorned with a red synthetic stone. The cap itself is finished in translucent burgundy lacquer revealing a distinctive guilloché pattern. Near the cap ring, the motto "treu und fest" is engraved, while the cone is decorated with a special engraving. At the top of the cap, Montblanc drew inspiration from the dome of the Crystal Palace, crowned by the Montblanc emblem in white precious resin. The barrel is finished in pearl white lacquer - a material that feels wonderfully smooth to the touch. The various fittings are coated in signature gold, adding a beautiful luminous accent. The nib is medium and handcrafted in 750/1000 gold, bearing an engraving inspired by the coat of arms of Saxony. The pen measures 145.30 mm in height and 18.50 mm in diameter, weighing 107 grams.
