Silver Oval Miraculous Virgin Medal

This oval sandblasted medal in rhodium-plated solid silver depicts the Miraculous Virgin standing on a globe, crushing a serpent underfoot, and wearing rings of different colors from which rays of light burst forth.

This is a rare depiction of the Virgin on a medal - shown standing, in full figure. Radiating love, her arms are turned outward in a powerful symbol of openness and forgiveness.

The reverse features a large M - the initial of Mary - crowned with a Cross. Around the entire edge of the medal, these words are engraved: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee". A meaningful gift for a birth, baptism, or first communion.
