The Watch

Oris, the Swiss watchmaking house, has teamed up with Cervo Volante - a brand dedicated to crafting responsible footwear and accessories - to bring you this model from the Big Crown Pointer Date collection. Only 3 watches make up this exclusive lineup, each featuring a gradient dial inspired by the hues of the Alps and a sustainable deerskin leather strap. The case is crafted from stainless steel with a diameter of 38 mm, and houses a green dial protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. Built from solid materials, this watch is ready to accompany you on almost any adventure. A screw-down crown in steel sits at 3 o'clock. The watch features a transparent case back, offering a window onto its mesmerizing movement and intricate engravings. Powering it all is an automatic movement developed in-house, fitted with an Oris Caliber 754. Together, these components deliver a water resistance of 5 ATM and a power reserve of 38 hours. The Dial

This model features a gradient dial inspired by the hues of the Alps. The dial is round and black. Up first, two rows of white Arabic numerals catch the eye: the smaller row indicates the date, while the larger one displays the time. A white index minute track further marks the minutes. The dial houses 4 grey and white hands displaying the date, hours, minutes, and seconds. The hour and minute hands are luminescent, coated with Superluminova C1/C3 for easy reading even in the dark. Finally, the Oris name is prominently displayed at 12 o'clock in white lettering, while the collection name appears at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

A Swiss-made automatic movement brings this watch to life - renowned for its precision, reliability, and longevity. At its core beats an Oris Caliber 754 on a SW 200-1 base. This clever caliber features 26 jewels and runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour, equivalent to a frequency of 4 Hz, delivering a power reserve of 38 hours. Time-setting is handled via a fine-adjustment and stop-seconds system.

The Strap

Crafted from dark brown deerskin leather using a 100% natural tanning process, this strap stands in a class of its own. It also features 4 white stitching lines. It fastens and adjusts via a grey stainless steel pin buckle. The strap has a lug width of 19 mm. Finally, the inner side of the strap reveals a scarab motif and the Cervo Volante brand name.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 5 atmospheres (50 m). Designed to be as beautiful as it is resilient, its refined look doesn't come at the expense of durability. You can wear it in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside on the edge of the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. For swimming and diving, we strongly advise against submerging this watch to avoid damage and costly repairs.
