Kuoe now introduces new timepieces from its Old Smith 90-002 collection, sized up from earlier models to suit every wrist. Presented here is the os90002-nd-iv-large, drawing inspiration from British military watches of the 1940s-1970s. A reliable everyday companion, it pairs effortlessly with any outfit and brings a strong vintage aesthetic to every adventure. Designed for men, its case is crafted in 316L stainless steel with finely considered proportions for all-day comfort: 45 mm in length, 12 mm thick, and 38 mm in diameter. Its round shape is highlighted by a polished finish that gives the watch a subtly brilliant look. The case houses a knurled, screwed crown at 3 o'clock for easy time-setting at any moment. The dial is shielded by a sapphire crystal with a domed shape and an interior anti-reflective treatment for optimal legibility from all angles. Finally, the model is water resistant to 100 meters, thanks to its screwed caseback.

The Dial

Leaning into the watch's vintage, classic character with a soft touch, this round dial stands out with its textured design and cream color. It adds a refined, sophisticated accent to your wrist while ensuring impeccable legibility in all conditions, thanks to its luminescent hour markers. The grained surface is swept by two sword hands and a slim "Lollipop" seconds hand with a round counterweight. In gray, they display hours, minutes, and seconds - readable even in the dark thanks to their orange SuperLuminova coating. They point to twelve black indexes in Arabic numerals, surrounded by a minute track in a classic style. For enhanced visibility, small rectangular and round indexes appear every 5 minutes along the track, each with an orange SuperLuminova layer. At 6 o'clock, Kuoe has inscribed the "Japan Made" label, with "Mechanical" just above it, while the brand name sits below 12 o'clock as a mark of authenticity.

The Movement

Powering this watch is the NH38 caliber, a high-quality automatic movement built for consistent performance in any situation. Supplied by TMI, this Japanese mechanism ensures smooth, reliable timekeeping for hours, minutes, and seconds. With a 42-hour power reserve, it features the Diashock anti-shock system, a stop-seconds device, and 24 jewels. It oscillates at 3 Hz, or 21,600 vibrations per hour.

The Strap

This stunning watch is mounted on a black NATO strap crafted in nylon with a braided design, lending the whole ensemble a touch of refinement. It wraps your wrist with comfort and style, complementing any outfit. A bonus NATO strap is included - also in braided nylon, this one in khaki, bringing a fresh outdoor vibe to your look. Both straps feature two brown cowhide leather keepers and a 316L stainless steel ardillon buckle for a secure and comfortable fit. They boast a 20 mm lug width and an adjustable length from 14 to 21 cm.

Water Resistance

This model offers 10 atmospheres of water resistance - that's 100 meters - making it a genuinely water-resistant watch. Built for aquatic adventures, it handles everything from rain puddles to the pool without breaking a sweat. Showers, baths, and lap swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts note that this model is not suited for diving (recreational or professional) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. Avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged.
