Odyssey Freediver Watch PG1954

The Watch

Founded in 2015, Boldr creates timepieces with unique, imaginative designs built for freedivers - pure, understated, and purposeful. The brand presents the Odyssey Freediver Watch PG1954, a striking piece with an instantly recognizable barrel case, sharp edges, and a cool satin finish. Crafted in 316L stainless steel with a black PVD coating and polished flanks, it measures 44 mm in diameter, 12.50 mm thick, and 51 mm lug-to-lug. Its remarkably short lugs are a standout design detail in the dive watch space. The case is topped by a domed, multi-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal for superior scratch protection. The unidirectional bezel, also in stainless steel, rotates with 120 clicks and features 60 markers - with the 5, 10, 15, and 60-minute positions filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 lume. Each engraved graduation aligns precisely with the corresponding dial indices for smooth, accurate readings. This bezel is also interchangeable with the Odyssey Freediver GMT bezel using a simple tool. On the right side of the case, the semi-protected screw-down crown features well-designed edges for easy operation when setting hours, minutes, and date. The screw-down caseback is beautifully finished with a display window - model specifications are engraved on the porthole rim - and delivers a water resistance of 30 ATM.

The Dial

The dial captures the utilitarian spirit of this diver with sharp functional details. A beautiful matte, shadowed face features a well-executed gradient - lighter at the center, deepening toward the edges for a real sense of depth. A transparent window offers a partial view of the movement beneath. A peripheral ring above the dial is highlighted with a minute track, Arabic numeral seconds, and oversized hour indices doubled at the cardinal positions. Legibility is exceptional: the indices and orange hour and minute hands are generously loaded with Super-LumiNova® for brilliantly bright illumination. The seconds hand features a rectangular tip also filled with lume for maximum readability in low light. The date is displayed in a round window framed by a white circle, positioned between 4 and 5 o'clock. The logo sits at 12 o'clock, with the Odyssey Freediver name and 300 m/990FT water resistance declaration just above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

At the heart of this model beats a Japanese-made automatic movement - the highly regarded Miyota 9015 caliber. It features 24 jewels, beats at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), offers a 42-hour power reserve, and delivers a precision of -/+10-30 seconds per day. It provides an analog three-hand display with a date complication.

The Strap

Boldr equips this watch with a 316L stainless steel bracelet finished in black PVD. Its three-link construction and satin finish complement the case perfectly. A signed deployment clasp with push-buttons ensures a comfortable, secure fit. The bracelet measures 22 mm wide at the lug and features quick-release bars for effortless strap changes. This model also comes with a second Druber™ FKM rubber strap with a pin buckle, so you can switch up your look on the fly. The watch weighs 196 grams on the stainless steel bracelet and just 132 grams on the rubber strap.

Water Resistance

This model delivers water resistance of 30 atmospheres, or 300 meters - ready for everything from poolside fun with the kids to serious scuba diving. The deep sea doesn't stand a chance.
