The Watch

The Herbelin watchmaking house introduces a new piece from its iconic Newport collection, inspired by the seafaring world - specifically, tall ships. Every detail reflects the nautical universe so dear to the brand. Be captivated by this timepiece featuring a 316L stainless steel case, a material prized in watchmaking for its outstanding resistance. Its brushed finish accentuates the model's vintage character. This 37688A35GD model has decidedly masculine proportions with a 43 mm diameter. The fixed bezel is held by five screws reminiscent of a ship's helm, with the collection name on the lower section. At 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock, two pushers control the chronograph functions, while a crown positioned between them manages the hours and minutes. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal for superior protection against shocks. Finally, a screw-down case back ensures 10-atmosphere water resistance, up to 100 meters.

The Dial

Navigate through time with this round-dial watch. The deep blue dial evokes the ocean depths, hiding no secrets. Two hands and a seconds hand sweep elegantly across the dial, clearly indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. This analog display is complemented by hour indices and a minute track. Luminescent coating on the hour indices and hands ensures readability at any time of day or night. A date window sits between the 4 o'clock and 5 o'clock indices for easy daily tracking. This chronograph model features 3 sub-dials at 9, 3, and 6 o'clock, representing a 30-minute counter, 60-second counter, and 12-hour counter respectively. The brand signs its timepiece beneath the 12 o'clock index and notes its water resistance there.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement - specifically a caliber from the Ronda manufacture, bringing your watch to life. The Ronda 5040.D caliber drives the hours, minutes, seconds, date, and all chronograph counters.

The Strap

In keeping with the vintage, elegant look of its case, this watch is fitted with a genuine leather strap in brown. Contrasting stitching along the full length of the strap reinforces the model's retro character. It blends a sporty and elegant look, perfect for everyday wear. The pin buckle in silver tone makes it easy to fasten. Note that the lug width is 22 mm.

Water Resistance

With 100-meter water resistance - 10 ATM in watchmaking terms - this bold timepiece performs just as well at a gala as it does in the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, the bath, or while swimming (even during an energetic workout).
