The Watch

Herbelin invites you into the nautical world at the heart of the Newport collection. The brand crafts high-performance, quality watches in a range of designs inspired by the sea - a world close to the French maison's heart. This chronograph is built for the masculine wrist, featuring a 316L stainless steel case with a black PVD coating and a 43 mm diameter with a 10.6 mm thickness. The round case houses a brushed bezel fitted with two pushers and a crown, used to operate the watch's various functions. The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal - unquestionably the most resilient material in watchmaking - ensuring clear analog time reading. Finally, the screw-down case back provides a guaranteed water resistance of 10 atmospheres.

The Dial

Herbelin reveals a stunning round dial that pulls you straight into the deep. Its smoked finish shifts through multiple shades of blue, evoking the ocean's depths. At the center, two luminescent hands ensure legibility even in low-light conditions. The dial is further enhanced by straight indices and a railroad minute track around the perimeter marking the hours and minutes. A slender seconds hand sweeps the dial with precision. Stay on track with the date window positioned between the 4 and 5 o'clock indices. Three sub-dials at 9, 3, and 6 o'clock deliver a 30-minute counter, a 60-second counter, and a 12-hour counter respectively, keeping your performance stats sharp. The brand nods to its heritage with "France" inscribed on the lower counter, while the maison's signature and water resistance rating appear beneath the 12 o'clock index.

The Movement

This timepiece is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement. Herbelin partnered with Ronda to equip the case with the Ronda 5040.D caliber, delivering long-term precision across the hour, minute, and second hands, the date window, and the chronograph counters.

The Strap

This piece features a comfortable black rubber strap that pairs seamlessly with the case, transitioning effortlessly between athletic and everyday looks. It fastens with a deployment clasp for added security during water activities. The lug width is 22 mm.

Water Resistance

With water resistance to 100 meters (10 ATM), this bold timepiece transitions effortlessly from black-tie events to the water. Feel free to wear it in the shower, bath, or pool - even during an intense swim session. That said, our watchmaking experts want to be clear: this watch is not designed for scuba diving (free diving or with tanks) or use with high-pressure washers. Keep it to showers, baths, and swimming - and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged.
