The Watch

Meet the Swatch Blue Grid - a bold blue chronograph watch with a modern, trend-forward design from the Irony collection. Its brushed silver stainless steel case measures 43 mm in diameter and 12.67 mm thick. The fixed bezel is engraved with a tachymeter scale graduated up to 1,000 km/h - color-matched in blue with the dial and strap for a seamless tone-on-tone look. Paired with the red sweep hand, this scale lets you measure the speed of any moving object. Two pushers sit at 3 and 4 o'clock, flanking the traditional winding crown at 3 o'clock. Water resistance has been tested to 3 bar, or 30 meters.

The Dial

A rich blue background sets the tone for this functional chronograph dial with analog display. The perimeter features a minute track accented by red indices. The 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions are marked by bold white and silver Arabic numerals that match the remaining baton indices. Two large black luminescent hands indicate the hours and minutes, while the seconds are read from a sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The sweep hand doubles as a tachymeter hand, standing out with its vivid red color - used in conjunction with the scale engraved on the bezel. This dial highlights the watch's chronograph function, with two counters at 3 and 9 o'clock measuring 1/10th of a second and 60 minutes respectively. The tachymeter and chronograph functions are controlled by two pushers on the right side of the bezel. The date appears in a round aperture discreetly positioned between 5 and 6 o'clock. Swatch has signed the dial just below 12 o'clock.

The Movement

The hands and date window operate independently, powered by the quartz movement driven by the battery.

The Bracelet

This chronograph watch features a textured rubber strap in a blue that matches the dial for a sporty look. It secures around the wrist with a silver pin buckle clasp that coordinates with the case.

Water Resistance

With water resistance of 3 atmospheres - equivalent to 30 meters - this watch isn't built for aquatic adventures. You can keep it on while washing your hands or doing light household tasks, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on the nightstand before showering or bathing, and safely in the hotel safe before taking a dip in the pool or the turquoise waters of your vacation spot.
