A cornerstone of the watchmaking world, Seiko brings remarkable expertise to every timepiece. With elegant, contemporary collections, the brand invites you to explore its sporting universe through the Neo Sport Chronograph SSB397P1. This bold watch features a round stainless steel case measuring 41 mm in diameter - proportions perfectly suited to men's wrists. To shield the stunning dial from shocks and scratches, a Hardlex crystal protects it. The classic silver-toned crown is positioned at 3 o'clock, allowing you to set the time and date. Flanking the crown are two pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock, giving you access to the chronograph subdials. Finally, the screw-down caseback ensures water resistance to 100 meters. At once an everyday companion and a capable sports watch, this timepiece is ready for whatever comes your way.
The round black dial is dressed with fine horizontal lines that add texture and depth. Large silver baton indexes and a white minute track ensure excellent legibility. At the center, three hands take their place. Two sword-style white hands sweep the hours and minutes, while a third hand displays a function shown on the dial's outer ring - a tachymeter scale for measuring the speed of a moving object. To ensure readability day and night, the indexes and hands feature a Lumibrite coating. Three subdials are positioned at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock: the first, in white and grey, is a 24-hour counter; the second, in black, is a small seconds; and the third, also in grey and white, is a 60-minute counter. A date window sits between 4 and 5 o'clock. The Seiko signature rounds off the dial at 12 o'clock.
At the heart of the case beats a Japanese quartz movement powered by the Seiko 8T63 caliber. It drives the hands to display the hours, minutes, and seconds with precision, while also managing the chronograph subdials and date window.
Crafted in stainless steel, the bracelet is made up of rows of 3-link segments. Sturdy with a sporty, modern look, it complements the dial design perfectly. It fastens with a push-button deployment clasp.
This model offers water resistance to 10 ATM, or 100 meters - a genuinely water-resistant timepiece. Its sporty spirit means it's ready to take the plunge with you. From puddles to the swimming pool, this watch handles splashes without complaint. Shower, bath, and recreational swimming? No problem. That said, our Ocarat watchmaking experts want you to know that while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or otherwise), and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend keeping the crown and pushers dry during immersion.
