The Watch
Founded in 2001, watchmaker Meistersinger offers a simpler way to read the time with a single hand. Known for this distinctive display, the brand draws on an idea dating back to the earliest sundials. It may seem paradoxical: the reading is less precise, yet it encourages a greater awareness of time passing. Behind it is reliable, carefully crafted mechanics that meet Meistersinger's high standards. Slimness and elegance define this new model in the Neo collection. Its stainless steel case now measures 40 mm in diameter and 9.70 mm thick, bringing its proportions closer to current preferences. It will complement any outfit with ease. A domed acrylic crystal and snap-on case back give the watch a subtle vintage look that lovers of classic watch design will appreciate. The crown sits in its usual position at 3h.

The Dial
This round, luminous "Opaline Silver" dial has a sunburst finish. A single black hand indicates the time on a 12-hour scale, making two revolutions over the course of a day. Black Arabic numerals mark the hours at the ends of slim baton markers. Between them, a black minute track runs around the edge of the dial for easy reading, with markings at 5-minute intervals. The date appears in a round window at 6 o'clock, just below the collection name. The brand name and logo sit opposite, at 12 o'clock.

The Movement
A Swiss automatic caliber powers the dial's single hand: an ETA 2824-2 or its Sellita SW200-1 counterpart. It has 25 jewels, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 38-hour power reserve. The single hand displays the hours and minutes, while a window displays the date.

The Strap
The strap on this beautiful watch fastens with a classic silver-tone pin buckle and has a lug width of 20 mm. It is made of black leather with matching stitching.

Water Resistance
With water resistance of 3 atmospheres, equivalent to 30 meters, this watch is not designed for aquatic activities. You can wear it while washing your hands or doing household chores that involve a little water, but the Ocarat team strongly recommends leaving it on your nightstand before a shower or bath, or in your hotel safe before swimming or diving in the pool or turquoise sea on vacation.
