The Watch

Originally founded in 1978 by Renzo Rosso, Diesel is a fashion brand delivering timepieces that keep you on time with style. Known for their craftsmanship, durability, and rugged build quality, Diesel now presents the MS9 Watch - DZ2196, a piece defined by its classic, minimalist design. It features a barrel-shaped case crafted in stainless steel with a refined brushed finish that enhances its silver tone. The case measures 44 mm in diameter, 49 mm lug-to-lug, and 12 mm thick. A flat mineral crystal sits on top, offering a clear view of the dial. Lug extensions protect the black crown at 3 o'clock - its grooved texture ensures a solid grip when adjusting the hands and date. The snap-back case back guarantees a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

Clean and elegant, the dial of this watch boasts a refined design that makes time reading effortless. It features a black base with a satin finish, creating a striking contrast against the silver-toned case. The baton indices are rendered in yellow gold. Those at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock have rounded tips set against a triangular surface for added flair. They are complemented by Arabic numerals from 05 to 55 for precise minute reading. The hands are skeleton-cut with gold-edged borders and feature a luminescent center for clear readability in low light. A slim seconds hand and a date window at 3 o'clock add to the functionality. The brand signature sits proudly at 12 o'clock, while the water resistance indication appears at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Miyota 2417 quartz movement. Japanese-made and battery-operated with a 377 cell offering an autonomy of 3 years, it delivers a precision of ±20 seconds per month, analog display, and a date function.

The Bracelet

The two-tone bracelet gives this watch a highly distinctive aesthetic. Crafted in brushed stainless steel, it features three rows of links with the center row ion-plated in yellow gold. Comfortable to wear, it measures 22 mm wide at the lug and fastens with a push-button deployment clasp.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters, or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms, this timepiece can handle the occasional splash - but it isn't built for prolonged water exposure. You can wear it in the shower from time to time, but to preserve the mechanism's quality and precision, our watch specialists strongly advise keeping it away from the H2O found in baths, pools, or the sea. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact with or immersion in water.
