The Watch

Montblanc has been crafting Swiss-quality timepieces for over 160 years. Discover the MB119286 from the Montblanc 1858 collection - a tribute to the legends of alpinism. Built for explorers and designed to professional standards, this watch features a round steel case measuring 42 millimeters in diameter in a striking grey finish. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, complete with an anti-scratch treatment to keep your watch looking flawless. It is topped by a bidirectional rotating bezel in black, indicating north, south, east, and west. A winding crown at three o'clock lets you set the hands and other functions in a single motion. Finally, a snap-on case back ensures water resistance of 10 atmospheres, up to 100 meters. Note that the case back is engraved with the representation of the seven summits of the world.

The Dial

This model features a stunning black dial that lends your wrist an air of effortless elegance. At its center, two hands track the hours and minutes with reliable precision. They are complemented by a baton hour index with Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock, and a minute track with Arabic numerals every five minutes for easy reading. At nine o'clock, a counter displays the 12-hour function. This watch also features a world time complication: at twelve and six o'clock, two globes representing the northern and southern hemispheres rotate in opposite directions, completing a full revolution every 24 hours. Both are ringed by a 24-timezone graduation and a contrasting day/night indicator. The globes, hands, and indices are all treated with SuperLuminova technology for legibility even in the darkest conditions. A date window sits at three o'clock, and the maison's signature appears on the same axis.

The Movement

This model is powered by an automatic movement, caliber MB 29.25, manufactured in-house by Montblanc in Switzerland. It offers a power reserve of 42 hours, beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and is fitted with 26 jewels. It drives the hands, counters, and date window with precision and reliability, delivering a high-quality analog display.

The Bracelet

This timepiece is paired with a beautiful brown leather strap that delivers all-day comfort while dressing your wrist with elegance and a modern edge. It fastens securely with a silver-tone pin buckle. Please note that the lug width measures 22 millimeters.

Water Resistance

This watch offers water resistance of 10 atmospheres, or 100 meters - a truly waterproof timepiece. Ready to join you in any aquatic adventure, it handles everything from puddles to the pool without a complaint. Showering, bathing, and lap swimming are all no problem. That said, our Ocarat watch experts want to be clear: while this model is water-resistant, it is not designed for diving (professional or recreational) and should be kept away from high-pressure cleaning equipment. We also recommend avoiding use of the crown or pushers while submerged.
