Discover the Tradition Cricket 400150A76.BAL114 model from the 50's Presidents watch collection by Vulcain. This Swiss maison has been crafting exceptional timepieces since 1858 and is the inventor of the alarm complication in a wristwatch. Particularly celebrated by American presidents - most notably Harry S. Truman - it inspired the collection's name. The watch features a round case crafted from 316 L stainless steel, measuring 42 mm in diameter and 12.4 mm thick. The fixed bezel is flanked at three o'clock by a winding crown and a pusher at two o'clock, both used to set the various time indicators on the dial. The dial itself is shielded by a domed sapphire crystal, renowned for its scratch-resistant properties. Finally, thanks to its screw-down case back, this model offers a water resistance of 5 ATM, up to 50 meters. The case back is also transparent, revealing the automatic movement within.

The Dial

This jewelry timepiece features a round beige dial - the very picture of softness and understated elegance. At the center, two golden hands display the hours and minutes, while the seconds are shown at the eight-o'clock index via a small sub-dial. The watch also features a 12-hour alarm function, adjustable via the counter located at four o'clock. Around the dial, hour indices take the form of slim batons, except at twelve and six o'clock, which are marked with Arabic numerals. A minute track completes the layout for added precision. Finally, the maison's signature appears at twelve o'clock, with the Cricket collection name at six.

The Movement

A mechanical movement with manual winding brings this timepiece to life. Developed entirely in-house, Vulcain selected the caliber V-40, delivering a power reserve of 52 hours. It also boasts 24 jewels and 162 components, with an oscillating weight running at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour.

An elegant light brown strap crafted from genuine alligator leather will grace your wrist. Its tone-on-tone stitching adds a refined finishing touch. Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres (50 meters), this watch is your first step into the world of water resistance. Not designed for swimming, bathing, or diving, it will still handle a forgotten shower without issue. That said, our experts recommend keeping this timepiece dry whenever possible to protect its movement for years to come.
