Today, Vulcain presents its Classic 560156A35.BAL101 watch from the 50's Presidents collection. This timepiece features a 42 mm diameter case measuring 8.60 mm thick. The silver-toned case is crafted from 316L stainless steel with a polished finish. The blue dial boasts a sunray finish that adds a beautifully luminous touch, while its brushed finish brings rich detail. A domed sapphire crystal provides optimal protection against shocks and scratches. A crown at three o'clock allows for easy time-setting. The transparent screw-down case back lets you admire the stunning rotor of the automatic movement. This watch is water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.

The Dial

This watch features a stunning blued dial, giving it an elegant and refined aesthetic. The Vulcain Maison is rooted in Switzerland, where it brings its full watchmaking expertise. The dial's sunray and brushed finish lends it a timeless, luminous look. At its center, you'll find three hands in silver with a dauphine design. Two hands display the hours and minutes, aided by Arabic numeral indices at twelve, three, and nine o'clock, with baton markers for the remaining hours - as well as a minute track for precise minute reading. The slim seconds hand indicates the seconds. You'll also notice a date window at six o'clock, keeping you precisely on track with time. Finally, the brand signs its creation just below the twelve o'clock index.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Swiss automatic movement. Vulcain manufactures its own calibers in-house. Fitted with the Vulcain V-56 caliber, this watch features over 36 jewels and 271 components, running at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour with a power reserve of 42 hours.

The Strap

A black alligator leather strap accompanies this exceptional timepiece. A true symbol of elegance, this one-of-a-kind piece is defined by its exotic skin with distinctive raised textures and black stitching for added depth and detail. It fastens with a classic pin buckle with a silver-toned clasp.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance to 5 atmospheres (50 m). Designed to be as beautiful as it is resilient, it can handle the occasional shower - though the Ocarat team recommends leaving it on the edge of the sink to preserve its finish and longevity. Swimming and diving are not recommended, as submersion could damage the watch and result in repair costs.
