The Watch

MatWatches introduces this new model AG5 CH1, from the Diver Chrono collection. This model is the must-have automatic chronograph for your adventures: its monoblock construction, screwed crown, and screwed caseback deliver extreme durability, making it a truly sport-ready timepiece.
The barrel-shaped case is crafted in 316L stainless steel with a black PVD coating. It measures 44 mm in diameter and 16.5 mm in thickness. The dial is also black. Numerals, hands, and indices are white, and the seconds hand is orange. Hands and dial are treated with Super-LumiNova luminescent material for optimal legibility underwater or at night. The crystal is a scratch-resistant sapphire with anti-reflective coating. This watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel with engraved white indices. Water resistance is rated to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters - ideal for swimming and scuba diving.

The Dial

The stunning dial on this watch is black with a round shape. At its center, you'll find three hands. The hour and minute hands are black with a luminescent white finish. The slender seconds hand is orange, making it effortlessly easy to track the seconds. Around the dial, baton indices in white add brightness and clarity. A minute track runs along the edge for even more precise timekeeping. Three sub-dials at six, twelve, and nine o'clock display the 12-hour, 30-minute, and small seconds counters respectively. Finally, the watchmaker signs the piece at three o'clock and engraves the movement's automatic inscription.

The Movement

This watch houses a movement with a Swiss ETA Valjoux 7750 automatic winding. This 25-jewel caliber displays hours, minutes, a dedicated subsidiary seconds counter, and the date. It features a chronograph function with 30-minute and 12-hour counters. This movement runs at 28,800 A/h with a 42-hour power reserve.

The Bracelet

This watch comes with three interchangeable straps: a vegetable-tanned black leather strap, a genuine orange rubber strap, and a black tactical strap.

Water Resistance

This model offers a water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A timepiece ready to go wherever your water adventures take you - this model is built for freediving. No need to worry about water: you can even use high-pressure washers with this watch on your wrist. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all fair game. However, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the mechanism's integrity.
