The Watch

Japanese sports watch brand Casio G-Shock has been crafting timepieces built for extreme conditions since 1983. Always ready for anything, these quartz watches deliver exceptional toughness. Introducing the exclusive new Aka-Zonae MRG-B2000B-1A4DR, fully inspired by Japan's samurai culture. The bold red elements reference the crimson armor worn by elite samurai units during the state wars of feudal Japan. A symbol of strength, this dominant color appears on the bezel, where "G-Shock MRG" is inscribed. The watch features a 49.80 x 54.70mm case in DLC-coated titanium. This premium case incorporates three black pushers and a gold-toned crown. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits over the dial to protect it and ensure lasting performance. Just as gold screws secure the bezel, screws at the caseback lock it firmly in place - achieving a water resistance of 20 ATM.

The Dial

The dial bezel features a red line along with a red minute track. Twelve gilt baton-style hour markers draw the eye down to the dial surface. The dial itself is black, textured with vertical stripes. These time markers are luminescent for visibility even in the dark. Two silver and gold-toned hands are also coated with Neobrite material. The seconds hand stands apart from the hour and minute hands with its red color and "baton" shape. A black date window displays the date in white between the four and five o'clock positions. Three bicolor black and red sub-dials provide additional information. On the left, the sub-dials display 12-hour and 24-hour time. The right-hand sub-dial serves as the multifunction selector, giving you quick access to all the features this timepiece has to offer. Finally, the brand's signature is printed at the top of the dial.

Shock and Vibration Resistance: The entire structure shields the watch from impacts and vibrations, while the module surrounded by alphaGEL elements provides even greater vibration resistance. AlphaGEL is a flexible, silicone-like material with a shock-absorbing effect.

Radio Signal Reception (EU, USA, JPN, CHN): Whether you're in Europe, North America, Japan, the vast territories of Canada, Central America, or China - once the watch is set to the local time zone, it receives the corresponding radio signal and always displays the exact date and time. In many countries, it automatically switches between daylight saving time and standard time.

Bluetooth® Smart: The watch features energy-efficient Bluetooth® technology for seamless data exchange at the press of a button. The Bluetooth® function wirelessly connects the watch to a smartphone, unlocking a wide range of highly practical features.

Smart Access Technology: Smart Access lets you use an electronic crown to quickly and intuitively navigate all your watch's features. Whether switching between modes or using functions like the 1/1-second chronograph, countdown timer, alarm, or world time - simply press or rotate the crown.

World Time Function: This function displays the time across 29 time zones and major cities around the world.

Crown Button Lock: Locks the crown button to prevent accidental mode changes.

Find My Phone: Press a button on the watch to trigger an audible alert on your phone - even if it's on silent or vibrate. Quickly locate your phone whether it's buried in your bag, buried under papers on your desk, or anywhere nearby.

Airplane Mode (Offline Mode): Put your watch into offline mode with the press of a button. This lets you disable your watch's radio receiver - handy during flights, for example.

The Movement

The dial is powered by a reliable solar movement. The caliber converts both natural and artificial light into energy, keeping the entire mechanism running. As long as your watch is near a light source, it charges and maintains a power reserve before stopping in complete darkness. With no battery or charger required, this system is also environmentally friendly.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance of 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. This is a watch ready to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you - including freediving. With no fear of water, you can even use a high-pressure washer while wearing it. Showering, bathing, swimming, and freediving are all no problem. That said, for scuba diving with tanks, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the movement's integrity.
