The story of Zeppelin begins in 1899 with the construction of the first airship by aviation pioneer and German engineer Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin. Today, the brand is celebrated worldwide for breathtaking timepieces that masterfully combine performance, robustness, elegance, and vintage style. Ocarat is proud to present this stunning Méditerranée watch 9666-5 - a piece that will not leave you indifferent. Crafted in-house at the Zeppelin workshops in Ruhla, Germany, it serves as the centerpiece of any look, projecting your distinctive style with confidence and reliability. Its vintage silhouette is elevated by a refined finish and a timeless design that transitions effortlessly from one occasion to the next. The round case measures 40 mm in diameter and 12 mm thick - ideal proportions for men's wrists. Crafted in stainless steel with a polished finish, the result is striking on the wrist. True to watchmaking tradition, the crown sits at 3 o'clock with a crown-grooved design, allowing you to set the hours and minutes at any time. A K1 mineral crystal covers the dial to provide superior resistance to everyday shocks. The case back reveals the movement through a transparent window. Of the snap-back type, it ensures 5 ATM water resistance.
The round dial of this watch is dressed in a champagne beige color highlighted by a semi-matte finish that contrasts beautifully with the black and gold time markers. You can admire part of the movement through the open heart at 7 o'clock. Next to it, a sub-dial between 4 and 5 o'clock displays the small seconds. Two black pear-shaped hands sweep simultaneously to indicate hours and minutes, pointing to Arabic numeral hour markers and two minute tracks along the "Made in Germany"-signed bezel. Graduated in black with dashes, they are accompanied every five minutes by Arabic numerals on one track and small rectangles on the other. Finally, the brand signs its creation below 12 o'clock with its name and logo, and places the collection name near 9 o'clock.
This timepiece is powered by the Japanese Citizen-Miyota 82S5 caliber, which brings its hands and sub-dial to life. Renowned for its quality and reliability, this automatic movement delivers exceptional performance and precision in every situation. It beats at 21,600 vibrations/hour, or 3 Hz, and features 21 jewels - ensuring accurate, dependable readings of hours, minutes, and seconds. The power reserve is 42 hours.
The brand chose a brown bovine leather strap that amplifies the vintage charm of this stunning creation. Enhanced with tone-on-tone stitching, it dresses up any look - from casual to formal - with effortless elegance. It ensures a comfortable, pleasant fit for all-day wear, and its stainless steel pin buckle keeps it securely in place throughout the day.
With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash without issue, but it's not built for prolonged water exposure. You can wear it in the shower every now and then, but to protect the precision and longevity of its movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from baths, pools, and the ocean. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact with water.
