This collaboration gave birth to the Star Trek Starfleet Beam Black Watch NB6098-04, a limited edition of just 200 pieces from the Magellan Automatic collection. Designed to sit on a man's wrist with authority in any situation, its case is crafted in black and gray stainless steel and measures 51 mm in length, 48 mm in width, and 17 mm in thickness. Weighing 120 g, it features a brushed/polished barrel shape that commands attention. Its gray bezel reveals Y-shaped screws and frames a mineral crystal over the dial. At 3 o'clock, a grooved, screw-down gray crown with a black gasket ensures easy operation. The caseback is transparent and secured by screws, providing 5 ATM water resistance. This aperture showcases the intricate inner workings of the movement, including the rotor shaped after the spacecraft and engraved with its name. This limited edition arrives in a Star Trek-branded red box.

The Dial

This gray and black dial is enhanced by golden accents and a central aperture offering a partial view of the movement's mechanism. It features a black inner bezel ring with a minute track and applied gold-tone hour markers. At its center, it showcases the Starfleet logo - the space fleet of Star Trek - a pivotal organization within the United Federation of Planets, entrusted with exploring the Galaxy and defending Federation space. The dial is complemented by three skeletonized hands for precise timekeeping. The slender gold seconds hand, whose counterweight takes the shape of a star, counts the seconds, while the long hand marks the minutes and the short hand the hours. All hands receive a Swiss Newlite treatment, as do the hour indices, for optimal visibility in the dark. The iconic mission statement "To boldly go where no man has gone before" encircles them, with a date window joining them at 6 o'clock. Finally, the brand displays its name near 12 o'clock with Star Trek positioned below as a signature.

The Movement

This model is powered by an automatic Seiko NH35 movement, celebrated for its precision and reliability. This Japanese caliber draws its energy from your natural wrist motion and beats at a frequency of 21,600 vph. Fitted with 24 jewels to minimize friction, it delivers accurate analog display with a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Strap

This strap is thoughtfully crafted for comfortable all-day wear. Made from rubber, it delivers impressive flexibility and durability. Its black tone pairs effortlessly with any accessory, and its stainless steel pin buckle makes it easy to put on and take off. Note that the strap features a lug width of 26 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres - equivalent to 50 meters - this watch is a solid entry point into water-resistant timekeeping. While it isn't designed for bathing, active swimming, or diving, you can safely forget to take it off in the shower. That said, our experts recommend keeping this timepiece dry whenever possible to protect its movement for years to come.
