The Watch

Zeppelin draws inspiration from the legendary airships of the same name, developed at the end of the 19th century. Presenting the LZ14 Marine 8888-4 watch - a modern model packed with performance and practical features for everyday wear. It comes in a round stainless steel case with a polished finish that is both comfortable to wear daily and built to withstand the test of time. With a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 13 mm, it is perfectly suited to men's wrists. A domed K1 mineral crystal sits above the dial, and on the right side of the case a crown handles the setting of hours, minutes, and date. Positioned exactly at 3 o'clock, it is flanked by two push buttons at 2 and 4 o'clock for operating the model's additional functions. Finally, the caseback ensures a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

The dial of this watch showcases the brand's signature vintage-inspired design. A grey inner bezel surrounds it to help measure travel speeds. The dial features a green base highlighted by an elegant sunray finish, with a tachymeter scale displaying yellow graduations around its edge. This frames a slim minute track alongside baton indices treated with luminescent coating - as are the sword hands - for easy reading in low-light conditions. Displaying hours and minutes, the hands are joined by a slim red seconds hand. The chronograph function is managed by three sunray-finished sub-dials at the center. Positioned between 3 and 9 o'clock, they display small seconds, 12-hour, and 30-minute counters respectively. A date window at 4 o'clock adds a further practical complication. The finishing touch is the brand's iconic logo below 12 o'clock, its signature, and the Made in Germany inscription at 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This model is powered by a Swiss-made Ronda 5030.D quartz movement. It features 6 jewels and runs on a Renata 395 battery with a power reserve of approximately 54 months. This caliber is equipped with a center stop-seconds function (1/1 s) and operates with an accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per month.

The Bracelet

This watch features a bovine leather strap that sits comfortably on the wrist. With a crocodile-embossed finish and a green color, it is stitched with matching topstitching and provides exceptional comfort throughout the day. This elegant strap measures 22 mm wide at the lug and 230 mm in length. It fastens with a silver pin buckle.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters - or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms - this timepiece can handle the occasional splash but isn't built for prolonged water exposure. Feel free to wear it in the shower now and then, but our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from baths, pools, and the ocean to preserve the precision and quality of its movement. In short: no swimming, no diving, and no extended contact with water.
