The Watch

Thomas Earnshaw watchmaking house presents its ES-8063-06 model from the Longitude Shadow collection. Inspired by seafaring navigators and the legendary watchmaker Thomas Earnshaw - nicknamed the "father of the modern chronometer" - this watch features a round case measuring 44 mm in diameter and 14 mm thick, ideal for a men's wrist seeking refined style. The stainless steel case is coated with rose gold PVD. The dial is shielded by a mineral crystal for solid protection against shocks and scratches. A crown at the 3 o'clock position allows easy time-setting. The screwed transparent case back ensures water resistance up to 5 atmospheres, while also offering a remarkable view of the oscillating rotor and movement.

The Dial

What makes this watch truly distinctive is its black, round skeleton dial, which puts the beautiful automatic movement on full display. At the center, two rose gold-toned hands indicate the hours and minutes, guided by hour markers around the dial. A minute track provides even greater time precision. Three subdials are positioned at 9 o'clock, 12 o'clock, and 6 o'clock, indicating respectively a 12-hour second time zone, moon phases, and solar indicators - all essential tools for navigating at sea, helping you stay on course by tracking the position of the sun and moon. Finally, the brand's name appears at the 3 o'clock position, underscoring the watch's authenticity.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an automatic movement that brings this timepiece to life, driving the hour and minute hands - along with all additional indicators - with precision and reliability. The skeleton finish and transparent case back reveal the stunning mechanism within.

The Strap

The strap accompanying this watch is crafted in genuine brown leather with crocodile-pattern embossing for a modern, detailed look. Tone-on-tone stitching adds texture and elegance. It fastens with a rose gold pin buckle, adjustable to your wrist size. The lug width is 22 mm.

Water Resistance

This watch offers water resistance up to 5 atmospheres, or 50 m. Designed to be as beautiful as it is resilient, it holds up to everyday elements without compromise. You can keep it on in the shower, though the Ocarat team recommends setting it aside by the sink to preserve its brilliance and integrity over time. Swimming and scuba diving are not recommended - doing so risks damaging the watch and incurring repair costs.
