The Watch

Lip is a French watchmaking company with a rich heritage. Founded in 1867, it has long been celebrated for its precision timepieces, refined details, and quality craftsmanship. The brand brings a retro-futuristic reinterpretation of its iconic BIG TV - originally designed by Roger Tallon - in an innovative, contemporary, and deeply elegant new edition: the Big TV Watch 671660. It comes with a square case measuring 35 mm with a brushed finish for a polished, refined look. Crafted in stainless steel and coated with a black PVD treatment that amplifies its elegance, it houses a flat sapphire crystal for optimal protection against scratches and damage to the dial. The crown is positioned at 12 o'clock for easy time-setting. The case back provides a water resistance of 5 ATM.

The Dial

This watch features a dial that tells the time with clarity and precision. It showcases a round skeleton finish set against a square black background - offering a captivating view of the movement's inner workings that adds even more character to the case back. The dial is framed by a white minute track, paired with baton indexes for the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions and bold dot markers for the rest. The 12 o'clock position is replaced by the brand name written in white. Everything is pointed by baton hands in white and a slim black seconds hand with a white tip. Finally, the brand recalls its manufacturing origin with the inscription "Besançon France" near the bottom of the dial.

The Movement

The analog display of this watch is powered by a Japanese-made automatic movement - the Time Module NH72 caliber, a three-hand movement featuring 24 jewels. It beats at 21,600 (3Hz) vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 41 hours.

The Strap

This model is fitted with an orange cowhide leather strap featuring decorative perforations that give it a distinctive look. Full of personality, it adds a pop of color to any outfit and looks stunning on the wrist. The strap fastens with a black pin buckle for a secure and comfortable fit.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 50 meters, or 5 ATM in standard watchmaking terms, this timepiece can handle a splash - but prolonged water exposure is a different story. You can wear it in the shower occasionally, but to preserve the quality and precision of the movement, our watch specialists strongly recommend keeping it away from baths, pools, and the sea. In short: no swimming or diving, and no extended water contact or immersion.
