The Watch

In 2023, Vulcain brought back one of its most iconic dive watches, the Skindiver Nautique - a model that shaped the watchmaking landscape of the 1960s. But the story goes further. Few knew that around the same era, the Le Locle manufacture had also developed a chronograph version of this tool watch. Hidden from public view for decades, it makes its comeback today thanks to the research and discoveries of Guillaume Laidet, who has overseen the development of Vulcain's collections since 2022. The Skindiver Chronograph stays true to the aesthetic codes of vintage dive watches while incorporating modern technical advances. Its stainless steel case measuring 39.7 mm, with a vertically brushed finish, ensures outstanding durability while maintaining a perfect balance on the wrist. Water-resistant to 200 meters, it features a knurled bidirectional rotating bezel with a black ceramic insert - a tribute to the original 1960s models. This watch is a limited edition of just 100 pieces.

The Dial

The dial of this watch is a true canvas for the elegant, functional design that defines Vulcain.
