Tissot is one of the oldest Swiss watchmaking houses still in operation. Founded in 1853, the brand has built its reputation on quality watches at the best prices. True to that philosophy, Tissot is proud to present one of its latest releases: the Le Locle Powermatic 80 Open Heart. Featuring a round case crafted entirely from polished 316L stainless steel, it offers outstanding shock resistance. Its 39.3 mm diameter and slim 9.75 mm thickness allow the watch to sit perfectly on any men's wrist. A high-quality scratch-resistant sapphire crystal provides bulletproof protection against everyday scratches. A crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the time with ease, finished with a fluted texture for a confident grip. Finally, the semi-transparent caseback has been traditionally decorated, offering a window onto the beautiful mechanical movement within.
The brand presents a sumptuous white dial with a "Clous de Paris" finish - a guilloché pattern that evokes the look of tiny pyramid-shaped studs. A highly elegant design. The dial features a delicate open heart at 12 o'clock, revealing a glimpse of the movement's balance wheel. To honor the watch's heritage spirit, all indices are rendered in Roman numerals, delicately set on a white circle. The hour and minute hands, shaped like "leaves", are finely crafted in anthracite gray to create a perfect contrast with the white dial - making time reading quick and effortless. The small seconds hand glides gently across the dial, confirming that your timepiece is ticking beautifully.
A true feat of engineering, this watch is powered by the Swiss ETA Powermatic 80.601 caliber. Unlike most movements, which offer an average power reserve of 40 hours, this one delivers an impressive 80-hour power reserve! With 25 jewels, it beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour - that's 6 beats per second! A stop-seconds mechanism lets you set the time with maximum precision.
To complement the elegance of this timepiece, a stunning 316L stainless steel bracelet crafted with fine links was selected. Like the watch itself, it has been fully polished for a brilliant, high-shine finish. A butterfly clasp with push-buttons ensures both security and effortless wear.
With a water resistance of 3 ATM, or 30 meters, this watch is most at home in dry conditions - think city life rather than the pool. It will handle a light handwash or a brief rain shower with ease, but immersion is not recommended. Keep it dry and it will thank you for it.
