The Watch

The Dial

Part of this piece's charm lies in the clean, sophisticated lines of its black dial. The striking sunray center with a double circle is punctuated by white hour markers that give it an especially elegant look. You'll spot two bold hands for the hours and minutes, along with a slender seconds hand. Fitted with luminescent coatings for visibility in low-light conditions, they track the time across Arabic numeral indices and a subtle minute railroad track. For easy hour reading, Hamilton chose to place military time in Arabic numerals numbered from 12 to 24 at the center of the dial. You'll also notice a dual window at 12 o'clock displaying the day and date. The brand completes the design by placing its name above the hands' intersection point.

The Movement

This watch is powered by an automatic movement. Its H-40 caliber and frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz) deliver precise and reliable timekeeping across hours, seconds, dates, and days. This timepiece also features a power reserve of up to 80 hours.

The Strap

The strap paired with this timepiece is made of cowhide leather. It features a stunning brown hue accented by small white stitching. With a 20 mm lug width, it elegantly wraps around your wrist and is secured by a pin buckle clasp. Note that the buckle has a width of 18 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 5 atmospheres, equivalent to 50 meters, this watch takes its first steps into the world of water resistance. While not designed for bathing, sports swimming, or scuba diving, you can afford to forget to take it off in the shower. That said, our experts recommend keeping it dry to preserve its movement for years to come.
