The Watch

Launched over 130 years ago, Hamilton is an American brand specializing in the world of watchmaking. It crafts timepieces with exceptional quality, combining ingenious material choices with clean, refined designs. The brand presents its new Khaki Aviation Pilot Day-Date H64635560 watch, designed to delight true aviation enthusiasts. Its design draws inspiration from 1940s aviator models while staying contemporary with a distinctly masculine edge. It comes with a round case in stainless steel with a silver-toned finish, beautifully brushed. Perfectly proportioned, this case measures 42 mm in diameter and 12.10 mm in thickness, allowing it to sit elegantly on a variety of men's wrists. Its surface is covered by a sapphire crystal that offers excellent scratch resistance and optimal legibility thanks to its double anti-reflective coating. On the right side, the knurled crown is protected by case extensions. Easy to operate, it handles the setting of the hands, date, and day. As for the caseback, it is transparent and delivers a water resistance of 10 ATM.

The Dial

The sandblasted green dial of this watch boasts a unique design and communicates the time effortlessly. Reinforcing the aviator spirit of this model, it features oversized elements for maximum legibility in any condition. The bezel ring, also in green, is marked by a minute track with white bars and rectangular hour markers. For added minute precision, you'll find large Arabic numerals alongside baton indices at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a bold triangle at 12 o'clock. The slightly recessed central circle displays a set of Arabic numerals for the hours. The ensemble is completed by openworked sword-style nickel hands coated with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1, ensuring excellent and lasting legibility in the dark. These are paired with a slim silver-brushed seconds hand featuring an arrowhead tip and an apple-shaped counterweight. For complete timekeeping, this watch features a dual display window at 3 o'clock showing the day and date. To finish, Hamilton displays its name and logo below 12 o'clock and indicates the movement at 6 o'clock with the "Swiss Made" inscription.

The Movement

Inside this timepiece beats a Swiss-made automatic movement with an impressive power reserve of 80 hours. The caliber H-30, based on the ETA C07.621, is fitted with 25 jewels to minimize friction. Oscillating at 21,600 vibrations per hour (3Hz), it features a Nivachron™ hairspring for superior resistance to magnetic fields and temperature changes, and a Hamilton-branded rotor. This movement delivers precise three-hand timekeeping with a reliable day and date function.

The Strap

This watch is paired with a dark brown calfskin leather strap, a nod to the classic pilot's jacket. Elegant and refined, it is enhanced by tone-on-tone stitching and secured by a pin buckle for a comfortable fit on the wrist. Note that the lug width is 20 mm.

Water Resistance

With a water resistance of 100 meters, or 10 ATM in the beloved language of watchmaking, this proud timepiece is equally at home at black-tie events and in the water! You can wear your wrist companion in the shower, the bath, or during swimming sessions (even vigorous laps). That said, our team of watchmaking experts wants to be clear: this model is in no way designed for scuba diving - whether freediving or with tanks - nor for use near high-pressure washers. Remember: showers, baths, and swimming only - and never operate the pushers or crown while submerged!
