Victorinox is an authentic Swiss brand with over 130 years of history and a powerful heritage. Known worldwide for its Swiss Army knives, the brand has expanded into other product categories, including watches. It crafts reliable, functional timepieces with a timeless style. The Journey 1884 collection was designed to honor the year the company was founded and pay tribute to the Swiss mountains. The Journey 1884 - 242013 leans toward a sports watch aesthetic. It features a round case measuring 43 mm in diameter and 12.20 mm thick, weighing 118 grams. Crafted in brushed 316L stainless steel, it sits comfortably on men's wrists. The case houses a screw-down, knurled crown in gold tone, protected by a crown guard, for setting the hours, minutes, and date. The case is topped with a bezel also crafted in 316L stainless steel with a polished yellow gold PVD treatment. Unidirectional, it is engraved with "1884," features a luminescent marker, and is graduated with a minute track. A reminder of its water resistance, the right side of the bezel reads "200 m / 660 ft." The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal, and the screw-down case back ensures water resistance to 20 ATM. The iconic Swiss Army knife motif is engraved on the case back.
The combination of two finishes on the dial and the blue color make this watch an instant eye-catcher. The dial features a matte center framed by a sandblasted ring and a outer edge with a minute track. Inside, large gilded Arabic numerals and geometric indexes display the hours in 12-hour format. The time is read via skeleton hands and a slim seconds hand at the center - the long hand for minutes, the short hand for hours, and the slim hand for seconds. A luminescent treatment on all indicators ensures easy reading in low-light conditions. A date window at 6 o'clock adds precision, and a graduated inner ring displays hours from 13 to 24. The dial is completed by the brand's coat-of-arms logo featuring the Swiss cross at 12 o'clock, with the inscription "Antimagnetic" at the opposite end.
This watch is powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement - the Normatech Ronda 715 caliber, running on a 371 battery with approximately 5 years of power reserve. It also features an end-of-life battery indicator.
This model features a blue rubber strap. Supremely comfortable and the perfect finishing touch for any outfit, it measures 21 mm wide at the lug and fastens with a silver pin buckle.
This model offers water resistance to 20 atmospheres, or 200 meters. A watch that's ready to go wherever your aquatic adventures take you - built for freediving. No need to fear the water: you can even use high-pressure washers while wearing it. Showering, bathing, swimming, and freediving are all fair game. For scuba diving with tanks, however, we recommend a timepiece with a higher water resistance rating. Avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to protect the integrity of the movement.
