Victorinox has been crafting sophisticated unisex timepieces that blend premium quality with Swiss watchmaking excellence since 1884. Founded in Ibach, the brand is forever tied to the iconic Swiss Army Knife - and its worldwide reputation has grown to match. The Journey 1884 collection introduces this automatic watch in a stunning silver finish. It features a round case crafted in brushed stainless steel measuring 43 mm in diameter and 12 mm in thickness. Designed to sit beautifully on men's wrists, the case is fitted with a unidirectional bezel with a fluted profile in stainless steel and a ceramic insert. Finished in blue with a polished surface, its lines draw clear inspiration from the Swiss Army Knife. The 210-gram case is topped by a flat sapphire crystal - renowned for its scratch and impact resistance - coated with a triple anti-reflective treatment for effortless readability. The screw-down crown at 3 o'clock lets you set the hours, minutes, and date with ease. The screw-down caseback is transparent and ensures water resistance up to 20 ATM.
This round dial sports a captivating blue hue that makes reading the time effortless. With a double-circle finish evoking the ocean depths, it features grey luminescent hour markers for easy legibility in low-light conditions. The rehaut is edged with a precise minute track, while the fluted ring is marked with geometric indices and Arabic numerals indicating the hours. These are swept by centrally mounted hands set against a sandblasted background, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds. For added precision, a graduation featuring stroke markers and Arabic numerals indicates the 24-hour military time. A date window at 6 o'clock keeps you on schedule, while the brand name and logo are displayed at 12 o'clock.
This timepiece is powered by a Swiss automatic movement, specifically caliber SW200-1 with 26 jewels, animating the hands and the date window. It offers a power reserve of 38 hours and beats at a frequency of 28,800 vph (4 Hz).
The bracelet on this watch features a grey tone and a brushed finish. Crafted in stainless steel, it pairs effortlessly with any style. The lug width measures 21 mm and it secures to your wrist with a deployant clasp.
With a water resistance rating of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this watch is a true dive companion. It handles showers, baths, lap swimming, and freediving with ease. You can even use it around high-pressure water jets without worry. That said, for serious scuba diving at extreme depths, we recommend a timepiece rated 30 ATM or higher. Also, avoid operating the crown or pushers while submerged to maintain the integrity of the seal.
