The Watch

Sinn is a German watch brand founded in 1961 by a former pilot, crafting robust timepieces inspired by vintage military dials. Today, the manufacture stands as a leading watchmaker with an ever-expanding collection. Its heritage lives on in one of its most celebrated models, the 556 I RS, which preserves iconic military styling while delivering a refined, sophisticated aesthetic. This model stands out for its clean, classic yet modern design. Its main element, the case, is crafted in satin-finished stainless steel, measuring 38.5 mm in diameter and 11 mm in thickness. Its round profile is topped with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, providing optimal scratch resistance and clear visibility of the central hands. On the right side, the knurled, screw-down crown featuring the "S" logo adds a sporty touch. The sapphire crystal exhibition case back showcases the movement, while the screw-down construction ensures water resistance up to 20 ATM.

The Dial

The dial offers crystal-clear readability. It features a glossy black base with white markers coated in luminescent material for effortless time reading in low light. It includes a minute track with white markings and baton indices for the hours. These markers are indicated by two sword hands and a red seconds hand that adds a striking splash of color. For added precision, a black date window sits at 3 o'clock. The Sinn logo sits below 12 o'clock, with "Automatik" displayed above 6 o'clock.

The Movement

This watch is powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement. Specifically, the Sellita SW200-2 caliber, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 26 jewels, reliably powers the central hands. Delivering an accuracy of +/- 12 seconds per day, it provides a 65-hour power reserve and includes a hacking seconds function.

The Strap

The bracelet adds an elegant finishing touch to this watch. Crafted in stainless steel, it features H-links joined by chamfered edges. These sport a satin finish that matches the case. With a 20 mm lug width, the bracelet secures comfortably with a folding clasp for a safe, reliable fit.

Water Resistance

This model offers water resistance up to 20 ATM, or 200 meters. It is ready to accompany you on deep water adventures! Built for freediving, it easily handles water exposure, so you can even use pressure washers without worry. Showering, bathing, lap swimming, and freediving are all well within its capabilities. However, for scuba diving, we recommend a watch with a higher depth rating. Remember not to operate the crown or pushers underwater to protect the movement.
