Victorinox has been crafting the world's finest Swiss Army Knives since 1884 - and every watch collection upholds that same standard of Swiss quality. Built for men who demand both style and performance, the I.N.O.X Chrono Quartz 241989.1 transitions seamlessly from everyday wear to intense athletic pursuits. It showcases a barrel-shaped case with a 43 mm diameter and a hexagonal bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale, military hour markings, and a luminescent marker. Crafted from carbon composite, these elements are engineered to resist scratches and stand the test of time. A sapphire crystal shields the dial from impacts and abrasions, while the knurled crown and two pushers positioned to the right of the case provide full function control - all enhanced by the distinctive Alox pattern on their surfaces. A screw-down caseback delivers 20 ATM water resistance and carries key engravings, including the watch's magnetic resistance rating. This sleek monochrome timepiece ships with a matching pouch - soft to the touch and purpose-built to keep your watch safe.
This dial is engineered for effortless timekeeping. Featuring a rich anthracite black base with a sandblasted finish that adds depth, it is equipped with luminescent markers for clear legibility even at night. A precise minute track** borders the dial, while the hours are marked by **black baton indices. Two black baton hands sweep the dial to indicate hours and minutes, joined by a slender seconds hand with a yellow tip and a counterbalance nodding to the brand's iconic knives. That same yellow accent appears on the border of the date window at 6 o'clock. Opposite it, a second window displays the day of the week in abbreviated English, topped by the brand name and logo. Finally, the chronograph function is handled by three sub-dials between 3 and 9 o'clock, displaying small seconds, 1/10th of a second, and 30 minutes respectively.
This watch beats to the rhythm of a Swiss Ronda 5040.E quartz movement. Featuring 13 jewels and a 28 mm diameter, it runs on a 395 battery with a 5-year life expectancy - keeping all central functions running with precision.
This watch is fitted with a black paracord strap. Tool-free interchangeable, it features a pin buckle crafted in black PVD-treated stainless steel and measures 21 mm at the lug width.
This model also comes with an additional black rubber strap fitted with a pin buckle. It measures 21 mm at the lug width and offers a flexible, comfortable fit.
With a water resistance of 20 atmospheres - equivalent to 200 meters - this watch qualifies as a true dive watch, no question. Our watchmaking experts agree: it handles showers, baths, lap swimming, freediving, and recreational scuba diving with ease. That said, it is not designed for extreme deep-sea diving, where pressure would ultimately compromise its seal. For professional divers tackling serious depths, we recommend models rated 30 ATM or above. Also, avoid operating the pushers or crown while submerged to keep the seal perfectly intact.
